Good and reasonably priced meal considering service, quality of food and ambience. Service was discreetly attentive. The appetiser is sort of half caramelised onion and mousse, tasty and interesting. Then I had venison pie for starter, good but the taste could be gamier (like the one I tasted at Rules in London). My wife had wagyu beef from Kagoshima, very good flavour. Then I had venison pie for starter, good but the taste could be gamier (like the one I tasted at Rules in London). My wife had wagyu beef from Kagoshima, very good flavour. But my Iberico pork is a bit disappointing, though tender, tasted somewhat bland (but the sauce was nice). I had small chocolate tarts for dessert, very good. The apple mousse cake my wife had was refreshing to the palate. A satisfying meal overall.
