Peninsula has always been a favourite for me during Christmas as their decorations are always be festive with lots of lights when compared to other surrounding hotels. Their afternoon tea set is not very spectacular but their service and atmosphere has always been one of the reason that makes me want to revisit again. During Christmas they will have a children afternoon tea which is held at Verandah. This afternoon tea often gets full very fast. Apart from the afternoon tea the hotel will arrange a 1 hour story time for the children and Santa will also come to give out presents for the kids, finally the hotel will hire a third party company to make specialised balloons for the kids. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon tea, and the best part is that people can reserve the afternoon tea weeks in advance. Without the need to wait in line.
If you have kids, this is a must to do during Christmas!
