Edamame
It is the immature soybean in the pod. Honjo serves it with salt flake which enrich the texture of it

Spinach
Another appetizer to start my dinner. It serves with chilled sesame sauce and pickled mustard seed. The waitress asks us to mix them well. Love the rich sesame sauce wrapping all around the spinach.

Wings
Wings are boneless which is deep-fried and topped with Okinawa black sugar dressing. Very crispy and juicy inside. Highly recommended!

Maki – Tempura yashi
A vegetarian maki with sweet potato, takuan, burdock, lotus root, shiso. It is a tempura maki roll.

Maki – Spicy desu
It is a prawn make with cabbage, pickled carrot, tobiko and chili jam. I love this so much as the prawn are so crispy and the tobiko is popping in my mouth.

Tempura corn
Corn with Japanese saffron. The waitress also gives us seasonings to try – garlic salt, matcha salt, Shichimi and wasabi salt. The matcha salt is unexpectedly good when sprinkle it on the corn.

Grilled Hamachi kama
This is my favourite dish. The Hamachi collar is grilled and the it is so delicate and juicy. I just cant stop eating it.

Matcha lava
The waitress tells me that it’s a different version of matcha lava but it tastes super good. I love the matcha icecream and the custard a lot.

Yuzu sobert
It is a lighter dessert as the yuzu gives the refreshing sour taste. Together with fruits including dragon fruit and watermelon, it comes to a perfect end to my dinner.

The waitress mentions that there is brunch on weekends with unlimited sushi & maki. I will certainly visit honjo again!
