I normally go to the Wanchai location of Mr. Bing and I love the jianbing, so when passing the central branch, we couldn't resist.The interior is a little funkier than the smaller Wanchai branch, but the product is the same (and the staff too!). We ordered the standard number 1 jianbing. It is delicious and simple and a little spicy. The crunch and softness combined with the chilli sauce and the coriander is just a wonderful combination - classic.
We also tried the number 7 HK cha chaan bing. The purple coloured bing is filled with peanut butter and condensed milk. It was also on a deal for only 10 dollars. After taking a bite, I was in a happiness coma for a few minutes. It was sweet, sticky and chewy in all the best ways possible. I was SO happy with it, I almost ordered a second (but I restrained myself).
Mr. Bing is awesome. Both locations are up to the same standard and I HIGHLY recommend that you eat there.
