Last week we went all the way to Yuen Long for an annual lamb pot gathering with a close friend who lives there and recommends Hung Sing. Lamb pot comes in 3 sizes. The small pot $238 was enough for sharing with mushrooms, lotus root, water chestnuts and beancurd sheets soaking up the essence of the soup. The lamb had been well braised with edible tendons.
Steamed Pork Ribs w/ Black Bean Sauce - Took a while to wait. Served steaming hot. The pork ribs weren't too fatty. Well seasoned. Flavorful sauce.
Mixed Vegetables in Clay Pot - Thought it'd be a vegetarian dish but it turned out to be a deluxe seafood pot! Various types of veggies and mushrooms topped with crispy white bait and mixed with squid and dried shrimps. The vermicelli was another highlight.
They are currently promoting their skewers menu which is available from 5pm until midnight. Even awasudachi chicken is available!
