Booked the restaurant for the very first time, had a booking for weekday lunch with 2 ex-colleagues yesterday. Booking was for 1215pm and I arrived 1205 hoping to get seated first as I’m on my 9m pregnancy. Soonest I arrived, I was told by the staff that the restaurant couldn’t serve lunch because the chef couldn’t be there during lunch hours and had to cancel everyones lunch appointment. Soonest I arrived, I was told by the staff that the restaurant couldn’t serve lunch because the chef couldn’t be there during lunch hours and had to cancel everyones lunch appointment. This really is the first ever experience of mine where I booked a restaurant and I was told upon arrival that, they cancel on me. It was indeed a challenge for me to find a table during lunch hours in Central without a booking, not to mention at 33 degrees with a big bump. No matter how good your food is, cancelling on your client that last-minute is a big no. Terrible experience/first impression.
