We went for the shorter menu ($1,880) and this first post is dedicated to everything before the sushi pieces. Loved the storefront and the intimate sushi counter inside. Chef was also friendly but not overly chatty so I felt very welcomed and comfortable. I'm not an expert in omakase or sushi but this feels more traditional, in that everything is cleaner in terms of flavour as well. Don't think i can list out everything we had but I can tell you for sure what lingered in my memory, the octopus.

Don't think i can list out everything we had but I can tell you for sure what lingered in my memory, the octopus. Damn the octopus that night was the best, best octopus I've had, japanese style. It was sooooooo soft but still retained just the right amount of chewiness, and the sweet marinate permeated to the center of the bigass tentacle.
