To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日星期日個肚餓餓地,我都想食好啲,又唔係好想食勁貴野,咁我諗起我多年網友Benjuman,開嘅旺記冰室,當年開簡直係鰂魚涌一段清流!唔係講笑鰂魚涌好難搵到好食嘅嘢!除非比好連貴啦!我都醒目特登唔lunch去,Lunch去一定排到叫到救命,想不到我4:00去仍然要排隊!其實我唔係好鍾意排隊,唔緊要啦好食又抵係咁樣!但我今次去好似冇以前咁好,以前有Menu揀嘢食,宜家只剩下玻璃底幾個餐,講真㗎我食得好尖,香港翻版食神就係我,原來個最貴個飯都只係$59..係滑蛋叉燒蝦仁雙拼飯。咁我就叫啦,侍應話叉燒冇晒轉左牛肉或者午餐肉,我就話牛肉照去。落到枱就發現水準,無復當年勇!一望落去得三粒蝦仁🍤,唔緊要啦50幾蚊個飯係咁,一啖食落啲牛肉度,食到食粉味,好明顯呢個牛肉原本唔係準備做呢個菜式。事實都唔難食嘅,係我嘴刁姐!我就帶咗個薑汁奶茶,我如果特別囉!食物配襯方面就唔覺得好出眾!我記得上次你食嗰個飯係好好食!堅係好食但已經唔記得咗係乜嘢?總括來講嚟呢度都係冇錯嘅!因為佢附近全部都非常之不堪...我唔係講笑我煮仲好食過嗰啲人...所以行過都應該試吓!最後值得一讚,侍應生再咁忙碌環境下工作,仍然保持專業
