Finally tried out Vission Bakery after walking past their eye catching bakery counter several times, I simply couldn’t resist! 🥐🧁🍩🍪Pic 1️⃣: Leche Flan - $50 hkd 🍮— Made with a brioche feuilletée dough, which is much like a hybrid of a brioche and croissant. Each layer is extremely buttery and flaky with a slightly soft texture that caramelises as it’s baked. — Made with a brioche feuilletée dough, which is much like a hybrid of a brioche and croissant. Each layer is extremely buttery and flaky with a slightly soft texture that caramelises as it’s baked. The tart shell is generously filled with a vanilla diplomat cream which is creamy and light with a strong aromatic vanilla taste to it. The sponge cake layer gives it a contrasting texture. The leche flan in the centre was super creamy and milky, but slightly on the firm end. I really enjoyed the shortbread cubes and sugar crunch pecans on the side as they added a nice crunch and nuttiness to the pastry as well.
Pic 2️⃣: Plain Croissant - $30 hkd 🥐
— Look at the size of this croissant! Nicely laminated layers of buttery goodness, though personally thought it was lacking slightly in terms of flakiness and crispiness. The butter flavour was rich but not overpowering, and wasn’t overly greasy either.
📍Ambiance: cute storefront, attractive setup, there are 2 small benches on the outside where you can sit down and savour your pastries immediately!
⭐️Would visit again?: Definitely!! Will need to try out all their other creations!
