Teppan Nyukon is a nice place for teppanyaki in Kowloon City, I went to try their lunch sets this time, and I find the menu pretty decent and reasonably priced. My friend and I shared the MATSU and TAKE menus so we can share more variety of food.For seafood, we tried the prawn, oyster, codfish and scallops, all ingredients are pretty fresh. The fish is very creamy and tender. The fish skin is cooked separately till it is very crispy. As a person who doesn’t usually enjoy eating fish, I really enjoyed this cod fish.
Also tried their roasted beef and pork. The beef is cooked with garlic and spring onion whereas the pork is cooked with apple slices. Both meat tastes delicious but would be better if the portion is larger.
The set lunch ends with fried rice, fried mixed veggies, caramel toast and ice cream. The toast is such guilty pleasure, very crispy, sweet and buttery!
