A splendid weekend lunch at ootoya The set was served with miso soup, chawanmushi, and pickled veggies. It was quite a generous proportion for a $100 meal, especially when the price in the neighbourhood is relatively high. The deep-fried chicken tasted surprisingly soft and tender in the hotpot. I was particularly impressed with the radish that blended perfectly with the sauceThe service was overall pleasant, the staff were helpful in refilling tea as well as giving prompt response. One point to

One point to note is the long queuing time though. There are lots of people queuing up whenever I pass by, and it takes at least half an hour to get seated.
