We arrived early at 17:50 to wait for the restaurant to open at 18:00. There was one party in front of us at that time. At 18:00, they opened and the party in front of us had a booking. When it was our turn, they told us they were all full and no walk in was available. We were in disbelief, because if they did not accept walk-ins, they should have specified on their social media or at least put up a sign on their door. As it did not have windows and the door was closed, it was very noisy with all the noise trapped and bouncing off the walls.
The serving time was quite long, they served us one plate at a time and only after we had finished the last. If we were not sharing, it would have been awkward for the other people to wait until everybody’s food had arrived. The serving order was also not according to order times, as we had ordered first, but our food came later than the other tables.
The food was overall okay, but all of the beef skewers were so tough that we could not chew and swallow. At that price, it is not acceptable to have beef skewers that cannot be eaten. The portion of the pork jowl was so small too.
The dessert was lukewarm, because they already put it on the kitchen counter immediately after we had ordered, which means it was just sitting there for around 30-40 minutes… The decoration was also very different from what the menu portrayed, so we were quite taken aback as well.
