Had been looking forward to the birthday dinner at Pici, while expectations always lead to great disappointment...The starter, chef’s selection of cold cuts, is just average. Hams and cheese taste normal. The proportion of truffle for the beef tartare is quite generous, though I am not a beef lover myself.I must say the ravioli was a let down, given how it was highly recommended. I do like the liquid yolk, the essence of carbonara, yet the ravioli itself takes you extra effort to bite and chew.

I must say the ravioli was a let down, given how it was highly recommended. I do like the liquid yolk, the essence of carbonara, yet the ravioli itself takes you extra effort to bite and chew. Perhaps the pasta is not fully cooked yet? I also ordered the beef pappardelle which had the same problem, the pasta itself is not satisfactory...
Given the quality of the pastas, I did not dare to order their desserts. Quite disappointed indeed as I expected a lot more from their signature handmade pastas, especially when the price is not relatively cheap either
