I had just finished lunch in the area when I passed by The Coffee Academics. I love how part of the place opened up into the street so you can do some people watching while dining there. Conveniently, there were some seats available right outside their shop which was made up of cushions and wooden boxes as tables. It was there that I sat down to enjoy the coffee.

Piccolo Latte ($28) - my takeaway latte came in a tiny little paper cup. When I opened the lid up, the latte didn't look aesthetically pleasing as there was no latte art on it. The microfoam was not fine enough while the coffee tasted overextracted as it had a bitter aftertaste. The size was also smaller than I expected.

I wasn't impressed with the coffee but the restaurant looked like it may be a good place to hang out.
