Still remember last time passing by Central trying out this taiwanese restaurant was a surprise, unfortunately this time I purposely came for their milk tea and noodle, it's quite a let down.😪I ordered Taiwanese Braised Beef Tendon & Brisket noodle in tomato soup and Taro milk tea.Noodle was overall cooked perfect but there were a chunk of noodle that wasn't fully cooked yet. Noodle was overall cooked perfect but there were a chunk of noodle that wasn't fully cooked yet. Noodle chunk wasnt falling apart yet. I didnt eat that. It served quite a huge portion of meat. Three tender tendon and three juicy briskets. Tomato soup tasted light tomato paste, not very tomatoey.
Taro milk tea was a disappointment. There was taro chunks last time that you could eat the taro pieces on every sip. This time, there wasn't any taro pieces, what even worse was only a hint of taro flavour. It became a taro powder made drink. It became coconut milk base which possibly overcame the taro taste 🤷🏽♀️
After renovation, the interior became brighter and looked cleaner; but food seems disappointing. I am missing the old days🥲
