Hong Kong Style Meatless Menu Fast Food Salt & Sugar Reduction Restaurant

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. I wonder if fast food chains like Cafe de Coral ever get enough attention from ‘foodies’ because we are always trying to find the hottest restaurant and bar with the most IG-able elements and dishes to attract ‘likes’ (呃 like ).For a quick fix for Hong Kong style foods, I’d go here. Recently I ordered their Roast Duck Noodles Tea Set for just HK$29 (for soup noodle and Iced Red Bean Drink - but since I’m not a red bean fanatic, I passed it for my beloved usual Iced Lemon Tea without syrup (走甜)

Roast Duck Soup Vermicelli

Roast Duck vermicelli in a tasty clear broth, for the price it is very good portion, the roast duck was slightly on the skinny spectrum, which meant lots of meat, less fat, but a more chewy texture, and I am fine with it.

The portion indeed is designed smaller because it is a tea set, and I simply fixed this issue by adding on a grilled chicken wing (+HK$9) and a Mixed Vegetables in clear broth (HK$9), both tasted exceptionally well.
