Reasonable Japanese With Good Service

This was my second visit in a few days and I was debating whether to write a review or not as the venue is not that large and I don't want it inundated! The first time my friend and I went for dinner without a reservation and were seated immediately . The first time my friend and I went for dinner without a reservation and were seated immediately . We ordered the salmon sashimi, spicy tuna rolls, edamame, mushroom skewer and vegetable salad with cold house sake. The salmon sashimi and spicy tuna rolls were the best. The edamame was good but needed a little extra rock salt. The vegetable salad was the only disappointment as the baby corn did not taste fresh and the dressing needed a bit of extra ginger and citrus. The service was good and the bill was surprisingly small. I enjoyed the meal so much that I went there again with another friend at the weekend. Again we didn't have a reservation but were seated immediately. We ordered the salmon sashimi, rainbow roll, double tail roll, crab salad, cucumber with crab/miso and edamame. This time everything was great but again the edamame needed a bit of extra rock salt. This time we took the advice of one of the waiters and picked another cold sake which was great. The venue is cute, food on the whole great, prices reasonable and service good. This is a little gem but please don't all rush there as I want to always be able to get a table!
