Quick dinner with a shopping mate and was pleasantly surprised to find this place without its usual queues. I ordered a seafood sashimi rice and my companion got a 4-sashimi rice (which essentially looked the same). The sashimi was always fresh, the salmon roe, tuna and swordfish were the best with just enough fat to taste tender but not too greasy. The rest (scallop, egg, squid, salmon roe and shrimp) were of standard quality. The grilled pineapples and goose liver was new to me; it was shared
The grilled pineapples and goose liver was new to me; it was shared guilt as we divided the panfried liver which was slightly firmer than usual but no less melting once placed inside the mouth. The aroma of the pineapples was enhanced with grilling and the juicy fruit was just right to go with its sinful partner.
Overall, nice dinner at $300 per head - the quality was well maintained.
