丼丼屋3.6牛乳特飲 (丼丼屋3.6牛乳、抹茶、紅豆) $48

平常晚上不喝茶類飲品,怕失眠,但朋友說這杯特飲異常好喝,所以我們各自點一杯嚐嚐. 可惜喝下去只有牛奶味道,抹茶味失去蹤影,紅豆亦少得可憐,不知是否餐廳只剩少量紅豆,但卻要弄3杯特飲出來的原因呢! 我想說,大家樂的紅豆冰比這杯$48的特飲有誠意得多!!!

最後,其實店方人手相當不足,當晚只叫了一次添茶,但也要等候良久; 叫埋單亦要叫2次才真的有人奉上帳單,令本來對店方的良好印象一下清袋,怪不得星期五晚上仍有不少吉枱,直至我們離開,也沒見過店外有客人等位的情況出現!

We ordered Butadon (豚丼), deep-fried oyster set, seafood don 海鮮丼, and a 親子丼 (from the kid's menu for my son).  We olaso ordered a 炸章魚 and 炸豆腐&蝦 as appetizers.  

Butadon: Although its presentation is not attrative, the overall taste of this set is not bad (excellent flavour and taste~).  

Deep-fried oyster set: Fresh oyster + crispy skin + unlimited cabbage & rice.  What I can compliant?  

Seafood don: Fresh seafood + reasonably sizeable & price.  Again, I can't find anything to complaint.

親子丼 (from Kid's menu): Overcooked eggs + 雪味粗糙質感的雞肉 makes me to put this food to the "一次就夠" list

Appetizers: both 炸章魚 and 炸豆腐&蝦 are excellent.  We really enjoy the 炸豆腐.  

Beverage:  The pineapple flavour is acceptable but the mint flavour makes me put it to the "一次就夠" list.  

The final bill was about HK$900. I believe that I will revisit this restaurant during my next Hong Kong trip.

We are not a huge fan off carbs especially for dinner, so we just wanna make things simple and ordered on donburi to share between us. CH can’t do any crabs or shrimps so we had limited choices, so we end up picked the sea bream sanshoku rice bowl. To make it simple, sea beams, sea urchin and salmon roe trio rice! A good portion for us, the sea urchin doesn’t look too appealing, luckily it still taste fresh, I am not a fan of sea beam, but the salmon row is good (and I didn’t notice they all hide underneath the sea urchin.

Our bill turns out to be less than $700, not cheap but reasonable and a good variety. By the way, they are doing some sort of celebration so you will get a booklet with recipes and coupon if you make any purchase above $200, and if you order their promotion items you will get a stamp card, with 6 stamps you will be rewarded with a complementary donburi (promotion item).

話説今日同三位友人去到位於圓方的丼丼屋。
當我們到達目的地,入座率只有一成,我們認為是價錢太昂貴吧,但是實並非這樣。

我們點了三份牛扒套餐,一份炸雞飯,價錢都在一百元以上。
當牛扒端上桌子時,血水佈滿整隻碟,我們都不介意。

The place was not yet filled with its usual dinner crowds and we took the edge off our hunger with the tomato salad - beautifully arrayed with a red-green contrast, the tomatoes were fresh and the seaweed had a chewy texture. The grilled pineapple with foie gras was somewhat less generous in portion but the pineapple was just as sweet and the liver melting with guilt as ever. The beef set ordered by my companion was quite reportedly good, while my 5-sashimi rice set was most satisfying. The crab meat and salmon roe were fair, the scallop and prawn sashimi were so fresh that they tasted almost sweet and the salmon belly sashimi was fatty and tender. 

The service was attentive and the staff very polite. It was a pure pleasure dining here and considering the amount of food and the store being in Elements, this was really a good value for money meal at $342 per head.

The aroma of the pineapples was enhanced with grilling and the juicy fruit was just right to go with its sinful partner. 
Overall, nice dinner at $300 per head - the quality was well maintained.

The rich and spicy flavor of the mentaiko goes well with the udon, which has a smooth texture. The onsen tamago is nicely done, with part of the egg yolk still running. The lightly breaded tofu in seaweed was appetizing and the texture and taste was made more complex by the thin breaded coat.

丼丼屋御膳($388)

這個是餐牌的第一個食物,御膳有前菜、漬物、刺身、炸物、煮物、燒物、茶壺湯、季節釜飯等,第一個來的是季節釜飯,來之後伙計點起了火說要煮多十多分鐘等有煙出就可以,釜飯可以就是日式的”煲仔飯”,用一些的上湯慢慢將個飯煮成,而這間餐廳用的米是秋田小町米,食落飯粒充滿了上湯的味道,軟軟綿綿的感覺好像食緊泡飯一般,漬物當然是一些醃了的蔬菜,酸酸地都幾開胃。前菜在三種,一個是三文魚粒,另一個是鰻魚上面有一串的銀杏,第三個一些魚肉包著一些的蔬菜。三種的前菜都十分之香口,要當日的主菜就是燒鱈埸蟹腳,蟹腳燒得剛剛的好,蟹肉軟滑而不失咸香,用來送飯也是不錯的選擇。炸物就是鰻魚玉子燒,以多層慢煎而成的日本蛋包裹著鮮嫩鰻魚來炸,做出鮮而不膩的口感,蛋仍在流質的狀態,用來伴飯一流。外層的鰻魚炸得剛剛好,有一咬即破的狀態。刺身就是有帶子、海膽、大頭蝦和三文魚,新鮮美味。煮物就是煮白蘿蔔,可能未到白蘿蔔的食期,食落這一個就不太好。而茶壺湯入面有瘦肉、日式魚蛋和鮮蝦,湯清而十分之甜。食完整個御膳給予人十分滿足的感覺。

龍蝦味噌燒御膳 ($298)

這個御膳有龍蝦味噌燒、前菜、漬物、刺身和蜆味噌湯。刺身就是帶子、大頭蝦和三文魚。湯就是蜆味噌湯,入面有一些蜆在內,飲落湯中充滿了蜆的香味,和味噌的味道非常配合。主菜就是龍蝦味噌燒,數量有七至八件,有龍蝦的頭、蝦羔和蝦肉,顏色上金黃色加上少少的焦黑,傳來陣陣的味噌和燒龍蝦的香味。食落龍蝦肉非常的鮮味,外表的微焦帶來香味,但不影響入面蝦肉的爽口和多汁,蝦味和味噌的配合給人一種特別的感覺,要蝦羔當然有種煙韌的口感,食落的甘香味充滿在口中,最後當然是蝦頭,雖然已經切除了一部分,餘下的部分仍然有很多的蝦頭杰,這些部分當然是甘香非常,雖然沒有健康感但仍然將它們食完。

鰻魚三目御膳 ($278)

這個御膳有鰻魚丼、前菜、漬物和刺身,主菜是鰻魚丼,食法上伙計們介紹有三種,一個就是普通的食法,不加任何的配料的食這個鰻魚丼,第二個食法就是伴著旁邊提供的青芥辣和紫菜絲混合飯和鰻魚來食,而第三個就是加上提供的上湯來食,當然三種食法都試一試。第一種食法當然能食出鰻魚丼的原味,鰻魚十分肥美,浦燒這種先蒸後燒的方法令鰻魚外皮香口內裡的肉肥美甘香。而第二種的食法就加了青芥辣和紫菜絲來伴食,令飯中多了一些的辣感和紫菜的清新感。最後第三種食法是加湯來伴食,減少了浦燒鰻魚的肥膩感,而湯和鰻魚的醬汁混和變成另一種味道,又帶來另一種的風格的食法。

主食當然是滑蛋吉列三元豬丼,三元豬是由日本入口的,是由三種不同的豬交配得出來,肉色是比較白而肉質纖細,肉的彈性比較高而少一些豬肉的腥味。加上肉內的脂肪比較清爽,炸出來的豬肉油感比較少一些但肉味就重一些。而這個飯面放上剛剛炸好的豬扒,上面再放了一些配菜例如是蔬菜和蔥花,還放了一些的上湯和雞蛋在飯內。食落整體的配合可以,雖然是炸豬扒加了雞蛋但口感上不會太膩,主要是豬肉的質地增加了一些清新的感覺。一個普通但用心的食物。

又是送酒的小食,銀杏本身也有一些的苦味,但用鹽煎就能帶出它的香味。

試過四種不同的御膳,各有不同的特式和風格,可以視乎自己的喜好再作選擇,而每一種都有一定的水準,看來可以再次光臨的食店。

伙計們的服務尚算可以,人客少時還可以應付,但當人多了時看來就不太足夠,好像食完餐很久也沒有人收拾,茶杯無水也沒有人添滿,這些地方都是一些美中不足的地方。
