Trying out Kakure at its new shop location. Full house on the night of our visit with the long counter seated around 20 patrons. Chef’s salad to start. The veg was fresh and the tofu bits were thoughtfully deep fried with a golden crispy exterior. Seasonal sanma sashimi. The sashimi was fresh and sweet. Rice balls. Loved it. Crispy exterior with bits of fish roe and kobu added in for a more complex flavour profile.

Overall, definitely a resto that I would revisit. Seats are hard to come by so do book way in advance!
