I went to this medium sized Japanese izakaya after a night of partying in SoHo. The access is on Portland street; it’s on floor 2 of a building. Take the elevator; the floor is marked. Space is nicely laid out, and has a large menu of Japanese dishes. There’s bar seating (izakaya-style) and table seating for more intimate dining. I ordered the 12-course omakase. Except I misread the menu and thought it was 12 dishes. Each course was 1-4 dishes. I only realized my mistake when course 15

I ordered the 12-course omakase. Except I misread the menu and thought it was 12 dishes. Each course was 1-4 dishes. I only realized my mistake when course 15 showed up and I determined I had not miscounted. This is a LOT OF FOOD. Forget AYCE, this is more than enough!
Everything was delicious - from sashimi-style bites, nigiri, tempura, a custard egg, and grilled tuna. I ordered a beer as well, which was good. The only complaint I had is that the sake menu was good - but only if you ordered a whole bottle. Otherwise the only option was Geikkeikan.
The staff were very attentive and helpful; spoke English and Cantonese fluently.
Would return!
