Overall comments:
If you are a Michelin restaurant beginner, recommend you to try Gaddi’s.
If you are a tourist, recommend you to come to Peninsula and Gaddi’s such a historical place with lovely stories, food is nice. If you had been to quite a few Michelin 3 stars restaurants in HK and around the world like me, this is not a place that you will go again for fine dining and for special occasions

*Remark:
we preordered and were supposed to have a 10-course meal and were only informed
on the spot (yes with no prior notification) that the menu was changed and the
preordered set was no longer available. Such a disappointment.

Details:

Appetizer:
-Beefroot
+ fruit + veggie + pine nuts (Nothing special. Beautiful plating)

- Egg
white with crab meat (Light and fresh. Strong taste of crab)

Main:
-Beef
with Red wine source with sliced dry mushroom (Too chewy, Australian Wagyu M4 can do a better job)

-Sole (Fish
Fillet) + Carrot + Curry Form (The fish..is just a fish, nothing special. Curry Foam is surprising though, quite innovative)

- “French luncheon meat” coated with puff pastry (Just a luncheon meat, nothing more to comment on, not a fan of frozen meat jelly. Lovely and sweet plating though)

Desert:
Raspberry
form and sorbet with blueberry and Fig (Balanced sweetness and sourness, not
too sweet, light and fresh, best dish of the meal)
