Fun facts? In and around nineteenth century, a rumour was spread among the Japanese that Peru was “full of gold”. Nikkei used to refer to the descendants of Japanese immigrants living around the world, but has now referred as the food that developed out of Japanese presence in Peru. Hence, the restaurant was named as TokyoLima, the respective capital of Japan and Peru.

It opens till late night during weekdays and you’re recommended to make reservation if you’re dining on weekend evenings.


Their service is extremely outstanding. Our server was very welcoming and attentive. Nonetheless, service charge is not inclusive in the bill. I like the idea that the extra tips we give will go to their staff directly.

The only thing that I can pick on will be the location, which its entrance is right next to the lift lobby of an office building. The washroom is kind of unsanitary and it’s located outside the restaurant..

Other than that, we had an exquisite experience in this notable restaurant after all!
