After a pleasant experience at the fish base ramen ⏺🔽 on Aberdeen Street, we decided to try sister shop for lunch on Gough Street to further our ramen experience.Chubby was disappointed that despite the name, no soba was served, just ramen. 沾麵also available. Chefs wore ties instead of bow ties.
Our noodles came- server explained that the crispy long brown threads on top were deep fried 牛蒡. We didn’t like it- a bit oily for me; Chubby thought they tasted bitter.
Noodles were perfect texture: chewy but not hard. Nice to discover 2 pieces of tender chicken at the bottom of the noodles. I preferred my creamy chicken broth.

Chubby preferred the red broth with added seafood, which I found tasted a bit miso-like.

Service was friendly and efficient. Toilet was compact but clean; with a selection of hygienic products like toothbrushes etc.
In summary : yummy ramen. (I personally prefer chicken broth to the fish-based at ⏺🔽.) Recommended.
