), 檸檬味清新, 一粒粒的檸檬酸酸的, 蜆亦算大隻, 檸檬與蜆的配搭幾新穎, 好開胃
! 甜品有雞蛋布丁, 甜甜的, 為我們這頓午餐畫上完美的句號. 雖然我們都想試試其他食品(如馬介休等), 但可惜「眼闊肚窄」, 吃不下了, 因此......唯有留待下次啦!

總括來說, 餐廳環境食品皆屬上選, 絕對可以一試

One of them wanted something 'authentic'. So i called up a couple of local friends and did some research and voila~ before we knew it, we were standing right in front of Escada. Escada seemed so different from the rest; just walking up the stairs leading to the restaurant was an enjoyment itself, as it was sort of secluded from the hustling and bustling city centre. The exterior was very European with a very enchanting wooden sign hanging that told us we were in the right place.

We were greeted by friendly faces who treated us with warm hospitality. After a few recommendations and a lot of discussion, this is what we ordered:

1. octupus salad-this is my favourite , absolutely amazing
2. African chicken- sauce was amazing
3. suckling pig- yumm~~
4. samosa- another fav of mine
5. Salted Codfish (balcahau?) with potato and scrambled eggs-love it!!
6. curry crab- second fav =)
7. pan fried sole with banana- this is good too, never had anything like this before.

every dish was absolutely amazing and cooked with exceptional skills. Though we were already stuffed to the neck by the time we had dessert. We ordered a round of dessert.
We ordered Serradura (biscuit pudding) and the chocolate pudding. i love the choco more~~

my opinion is, this is the best restaurnt in Macau and worth paying a visit if you are ever in Macau~ the service and food is topic top-notch

非洲雞 ($128): 標明是signature dish, 當然不可不試啦! 賣相非常誘人, 雞是連骨那種, 份量不少。 濃濃的醬料緊附在雞的表面, 因為焗過, 所以面層更為香口。 混有大量椰蓉和番茄, 甜、酸、辣交錯, 味道確實豐富。 雞本身以香料醃過, 香濃的汁醬正好為此添上幾分色彩。 肉質偏瘦但鬆軟, 不會鞋口難嚼, 伴碟的薯仔烚得夠稔, 質感軟滑
, 用作索汁實在一流。

吃過兩道菜後已有些飽意, 但總要有甜品才算畫上完美的句號。


選擇以朱古力布甸$ ($30)作結, 端來時附上兩小杯東西, 分別是咖啡粉和酒, 先試一口布甸, 朱古力非常濃, 還有點甜, 再將所有東西混合來吃, 多份層次感, 甘甘苦苦的, 質感非挺身, 反而像mousse般軟, 接近醬的程度, 很creamy。 但小妹還是較愛正常版的布甸呢!

整體的水準的確不俗, 特別是環境方面, 實值得一讚, 這頓飯吃得甚為寫意舒服。

I went to this place last weekend with some friends during our 3 day Macau tour. We were disappointed too despite of the good comments from other diners. The overall ambience was not bad at all, colonial style old architecture and it is convenient to find. Sauteed Clams ~ sauce is quite delicious, with a zesty flavor, but unfortuately with many "sands" inside, it's not okay! We left the clams dish untouched

Duck Rice ~ forgot the price... $130 or something, it's a bit pricy, duck meat has no flavor... the cook must have forgotten to add seasonings? .

African Chicken ~ I love African Chicken!

some kind of Portuguese Steak ~ We ordered medium rare, but it was definitely over done and the meat was tough.
We didn't order any dessert there, but we ate dessert in "Hang Heng Yuen" which is in San Man Lo quite close to Senado Square and it was surpisingly good!
For $250 per person, I would say it's too expensive. I would not go there again!

睇到呢間餐廳食評不錯,地方也算特別,上星期五過澳門玩前一早訂定檯黎試試.一家三口晚上7:30準時到達.不算難找,就在新馬路郵政局旁的梯級上,舊葡式建築物晚上亮了燈非常羅曼蒂克訂檯時已講明要二樓,聽電話的小姐也說沒問題.可惜到了說樓上當晚被人包場,只有樓下位子了,有點掃慶不過也無謂嘈,便收拾心情坐下點菜按食評介紹及自己喜好點了:炸馬介休薯球 - 不過不失,算合格炸芝士葡國火腿批 - 有驚喜,鹹香惹味八爪魚沙律 - 味道可以,但只有普通生菜,如果配些高級點沙律菜會更加吸引檸檬荽西炒蜆 - 味道普通,蜆不算肥美,而且三四成有沙非洲雞 - 做法非常奇怪,汁內加入大量椰絲,跟其他葡國餐廳做法完全唔同,唔識欣賞焗鴨飯 - 普普通通,唔夠惹味,d飯太淋,食落似荷葉飯木慷蛋糕 - 麻麻地,輸"九如坊"好多雞蛋布甸 - 都係麻麻地整體來說服務雖然未算專業,不過服務生態度親善,感覺不錯.內部裝修只是合格,實在是浪費了甚有特色的建築物食物最多算勉強合格,不是期望好味價錢合理,我們埋單6百幾如果拍拖可以一試,想食好野就咪啦!

到澳門,想吃一頓葡國餐,上網看這店頗多好評,便記低地址前來,看著地圖兜兜轉轉,好不容易才找到,原來就在郵政局附近。已是下午二時多,樓上已不再接待客人,服務員指示我們坐在木樓梯旁的檯子,但不久樓上有客人離開,腳步令至塵土飛揚,我們要求轉檯,服務員也願意替我們轉。餐牌的選擇頗多,但我們都抱著少吃多餐的想法,希望在澳門各處多試美食,我們點了馬介休薯球,青菜薯蓉湯,煎蛋牛排和葡國特色炒飯。馬介休薯球一碟有四件,炸得很香口,切開後,見到一絲絲的馬介休,加了薯蓉和青蔥,非常可口,心想好的開始是成功的一半,可惜事與願違,跟著來的食物,質素強差人意,青菜薯蓉湯味道很淡,連鹽也沒放一點,薯蓉的成份不多,水汪汪,祇靠火腿粒和煙腸粒的味道,相信我自己也必定弄得比他們好。煎蛋牛排,同在一碟裏有薯條,白飯和混了油醋的沙律,最令我反白眼的是牛排是在一池的汁水浸著來,牛排面的煎蛋樣子醜陋,完全不似是由專業的人仕煎出來,切開牛排一看,約八成以上是生的,比我要求的五成相差很遠,想不到不久坐在鄰座的外籍男仕的黑椒牛排亦遇到相同的問題,都要求煮多一點點熟,拿回來的牛排更恐怖,因汁水更多,而且是用微波爐返叮,生熟則可以,我要

根據其他食評是不應如此不濟,我估計是廚子已下了場,臨時由一位不專業的人仕代替,因真的很差,很差。

十一點來到馬交,乘酒店專車到十六浦放低行李後,就順路出新馬路搵食醫肚。這天是澳門大賽車日,街上反而人流不多,沿郵局旁的樓梯直上,找到了第一站 Restaurante ESCADA。這間葡菜餐廳樓高兩層,裝修帶點歐陸情懷,感覺不錯。行程安排了十多個食點,故沒有點太多菜,都是大路的馬介休炸薯球 (MOP 48) 及葡式焗鴨飯 (MOP 95)。由於沒有白開水供應,點了一支葡國熱情果汽水 (MOP 18) 與女友共享。一邊吃牛油餐包,一邊試試葡國汽水,其特色是汽來得沒可樂般強烈,飲落跟鮮果汁差不多,但果肉沉低,倒出來兩杯汽水成鴛鴦色,有點趣怪。馬介休炸薯球新鮮熱辣炸起,表面看有點燶,咬下去外皮香脆,內含超多薯絲,絕對真材實料,味道鹹中帶香,很不錯。另一道葡式焗鴨飯,放上一些橄欖、葡式臘腸、煙肉,飯面香脆,有點米通的口感;內層飯粒則焗得十分軟熟,相當入味,感覺像吃荷葉飯,只是少了那份荷葉香;最精彩的還是飯底藏著的鴨絲,份量奇多,感覺相當對辦。可能味道來得太濃烈,飯後感到口乾,難怪女友覺得這飯雖不錯,但仍未算得上澳門最佳。吃飽,係時候周圍走走。

首先要多謝男友揀左呢間餐廳作為我的生日飯當晚我地坐 2樓, 室內情調同服務亦唔錯我地叫左ctopus salad八爪魚好腍, 好好食, 而olive oil 配生菜亦都好醒胃馬介休薯球即炸的, 好脆口, 但略嫌食唔到馬介休味豬乳豬乳豬皮好脆, 食唔慣脂肪的人會覺得幾肥下食左一半我都要切走d 肥, only食個皮而拌碟的薯條就好脆, 食到最尾都未變腍, 正!!鴨飯鴨肉原來o係d 飯入面, d肉好腍, 一d都唔鞋, 幾好食!!鮮榨燈汁成28蚊一杯, 但得一小杯...如果可以大杯少少就好喇不得不提係佢地ge面包真係好好食, 好鬆軟!!!!

去澳門梗有一餐食葡國菜, 睇了 small jj 的食評及相片後, 決定試試呢間好似幾靚的餐廳, 目標亦只有一個 -- creme caramel!


先嚟朋友的 iced chocolate ($30): 賣相有點茶記「凍朱」feel, 試了一啖, 味道十足 Dutch Lady 牌
, 不過都幾好飲 -- 用奶沖的朱古力, 好耐無喺街飲過了 -_-"

Sauteed clams with coriander in garlic and white wine sauce ($85): 屬 "main", 所以好大盤, 不過我哋就叫嚟做 appetizer
蜆仔細細隻, 炒得香, 食落頗嫩, 鮮甜又幾香 garlic 味, 不過我覺得芫茜多了 d, 而且朋友食到一兩隻有沙. 下面 d 汁可以用嚟送熱辣辣鬆脆的 complimentary 豬仔包, 不過就咁飲 / 食會好鹹, 千祈唔好當湯「畢」嚟飲.

Baked duck rice ($95): 其實我未食過焗鴨飯, 都係見食評話呢度做得不錯先叫嚟試試. 焗得好乾身, 面頭有 bacon 及幾片葡式臘腸, 中間及底下就有好多鴨肉絲. 葡式臘腸及 bacon 就太鹹唔啱食, 鴨肉絲硬而無味, 而最好食就當然係 d 飯, 夠香, 唔膩, 我覺得乾身得滯, 食到有點口乾. 不過整體係幾好食的.

Portuguese egg pudding ($20): 我好鍾意食 creme caramel, 硬覺得呢樣易學難精, 喺香港又有點難搵, 所以呢個係成餐飯最期待的一樣
呢度的賣相有少少樣衰, caramel sauce 又落得太多, 不過食落有濃濃的蛋香, 夠甜, 而且好滑溜, 兩人用了兩分半鐘時間就清碟, 哈哈


食物不錯, 配套亦好, 環境 casual 得來又 elegant, 服務態度亦好, 令人好舒服.

連加一每人約 $130, 一 d 都唔貴, 值得試試.

P.S. 店名原來只解作「樓梯」/「梯級」, 仲以為佢同德國服裝品牌有乜關係 tim xD
