we went for lunch today, and as we arrived at 12:10pm, the restaurant was completely empty except 1 table being occupied. First impression was pretty bad as the waitress looks uninterested at all. The restaurant itself was decorated with some Swiss ornaments which is good, we went on reading the menus, and you can choose from lunch set or al la cart. the al la cart has a few Swiss specific dishes like raclette and cheese fondue which I should point out they are outrageously overpriced! yes, it is even more expensive then Peninsula Hotel's famous Chesa. haha, funny to see how people operate a business but don't know what the market is; so we ordered from the lunch set which priced from 1xx, it took about 10 mins before the bread came. We kept on waiting and people started showing up and ordered their food, after further 30 minutes, there is still no sign of food as all tables are basically still empty. we ordered a simple smoked salmon on toast which can be made easily in 3 minutes and also a roasted chicken; after 45 minutes of waiting, food finally came, thank God. for a regular lunch hour of 60 minute, I am not sure if this restaurant is even suitable to serve any lunch at all.
Salmon was salty, Chicken was okay; but for sure there is no coming back.
