It has been a long while since i last met up with my University friends and finally we got the time to catch up with each another. He was a member of Chinese Bank Association, thus he suggested to bring me there for dinner. This chinese restaurant was centrally located near Central MTR, and was exclusively for members only. Baked sea whelk stuffed with seafood - When served, the waiter cautioned us not to touch the shell as it was still hot. There were alot of ingredients stuffed in the shell, with snail meat, chicken, crab meat and prawn etc. The taste was rich and flavourful, slightly creamy and juicy too.
Double boiled fish maw soup with pig lung, chicken and almond milk - The soup was milky and thick, and has absorbed all the essence of those ingredients. Fish maw was soft and tender, almost melting in my mouth.
Steamed scallop with beancurd in black bean sauce - Scallop was placed on top of beancurd, and the black bean sauce was flavourful. Scallop was soft, but the beancurd was not smooth enough though.
Stir fried garoupa fillet with vegetables - Broccoli was fresh and juicy, and the fish was cooked till soft. But it was slightly oily though.
Fried rice - The serving was very huge, with generous portion of bbq pork and shrimps in it. It was very tasty, but slightly dry.
Walnut paste - The taste of walnut was strong, and the dessert was smooth.
