Having read an advert on the magazine we thought we would give it a try.Lunch set:$88 for salad bar + dessert bar $11x for salad, dessert bar + panini$13x for salad, dessert bar + pasta$168 for salad, dessert bar + main course.Salad bar - there's a variety including Parma ham (nice), chick peas, mushroom, green veg all with salad dressing, most of them was too salty.Main course - had the steak which was sooooo chewy, not juicy and didn't taste of much. $88 for salad bar + dessert bar

Salad bar - there's a variety including Parma ham (nice), chick peas, mushroom, green veg all with salad dressing, most of them was too salty.
Main course - had the steak which was sooooo chewy, not juicy and didn't taste of much. Also had the grilled calamari, which was again very chewy and didn't taste of much.
dessert bar - lemon tart was alright though some thought it's too sour, marble cake was only so so, there's also a selection of fruits.

All in all the beef and calamari was extremely disappointing. Salad bar too salty, dessert was only average.

自從在月頭,洲際扒房忽然一役之後,吃牛扒的心癮仍不鍥止,日前打開Timeout雜誌,見到Just opened一欄,有間名叫Bistecca的意大利扒房,以Butcher boy來形容,聽落很新奇,即係在肉檔吃牛扒?心想是否好像在街市吃私房牛扒呢.Bistecca為Dining concept名下的新店,同系者有BLT,Bombay Dream等食店.小弟吃過港式梳打牛扒,法式牛扒,美式牛扒,係從未試過意式牛扒.此店在蘭桂坊Bulldog酒吧對面商廈二樓,當入到門口,見到店員果然是一身雪白的肉檔"屠夫"裝束,沒有血跡沾在衫上.面前的女侍應,亦不是如Suede的"Metal Mickey"MV內的女屠夫.扒房裝修以紅磚牆,木檯為主,帶點家庭味道,廚房屬開放式,內裏一目了然,而且更有凍肉櫃位,展出各式凍肉海鮮,任君選擇.店內亦有一些肉檔的工具,如磅,切肉機器等等,只見"屠夫"拿住一大件牛肉,在切肉機前產生的聲響,有如身歷其景,可是聞不到任何血腥味道.牛扒之外,有燒虎蝦,海臚魚,羊扒,燒雞,不想吃太多肉的話,更有意粉,沙律可選.既然冒著Butcher boy之名而來,目標當然是瞄著牛扒.是夜

牛扒之外,有燒虎蝦,海臚魚,羊扒,燒雞,不想吃太多肉的話,更有意粉,沙律可選.既然冒著Butcher boy之名而來,目標當然是瞄著牛扒.是夜我與友人,點了個24安士的Delmonico Rib Eye Steak,本來想再叫個扁意粉,店員提示這個份量,對兩個人份量已經很多,不如再叫多個side order就差不多.於是便要個菠菜忌廉同燒釀磨菇.見到隔離檯點的生牛肉他他,非常吸引,令到我把持不住,結果還是忍唔住要.

Bistecca的牛扒,以美國牛同澳洲和牛為主,我們的肉眼扒,是用澳洲和牛.再配以炭燒而成,上檯時已經先切開數件,以便大家分享.我們要五成熟,在牛扒上的木棒上,刻著medium.外貌帶點焦,去找一樣菜式來形容,大約是京燒羊腩.結果吃下去,感覺有點雷同,外皮燒得酥脆,五成熟的牛肉,顏色嫣紅,肉質嬌嫩,但不是和牛一貫的淋.在炭燒之下的肉味更濃郁.連骨的肥膏位,更為甘香豐朕,打趣地說如果做成牛油渣的話,一定更美味.跟牛扒上有三款醬汁,Porcini,Chianti mustard,Spicy tomato catsup.個人偏好Chianti mustard,始終覺得芥辣同牛扒是與生俱來.配菜的忌廉菠菜茸,是店員推介,帶有菠菜的清香,忌廉香滑,混合了蒜粒,更添惹味.燒釀磨菇正名是Cremini mushrooms with stuffed prosciutto,同樣地惹味,很不錯.

吃過法式生牛肉他他,做法是先將牛肉剁到碎,再將多款醬料撈勻來吃,而在Bistecca的牛肉他他,配料只得荵,巴馬臣芝士,同檸檬汁.非常簡單.牛肉更不是剁到碎,還是一舊舊,不過這樣吃就更能突出牛肉的鮮味.而且亦較具嚼頭呢.

是夜沒有喝酒,水也是要暖水,一個生牛肉,一個二十四安士牛扒,再加兩個配菜,總共一千多少少,個人覺得物有所值.氣氛方面,就較適合一大班人來分享牛扒,好像我們旁邊的一檯,總共差不多二十人,聲勢浩大,聲浪亦很大.假若想來夜半輕私語的話,請另覓地方.

步出門口,突然問到一陣炭味,反覆再聞件衫,友人更說我有沒有味,原來,店內的炭味,在Tuscany樓上的煙窗排出.

A very noisy restaurant.We tried the dry aged sirloin but it tasted not so special. Personally we dont like anchovies paste served with vegatables. In short, fair food quality at fair prices.Service is not bad.
