是日中午來了Bistecca享用半自助餐,主菜已一早與同事們在公司商量好來到餐廳門口看到一個擺放整齊的凍肉櫃,聽說可以把肉買回家自己煮呢。進內後覺得室內佈置特別,只是桌子擺放得很密,有些擠迫和餐廳內嘈音頗大。甫坐下立刻往食物Bar覓食,食物選擇算是足夠,有Parma Ham、Salami、麵包、沙律菜、菇菌、釀茄子、薯仔、水果等,雖然種類不算多,但食物味道比想像中好,如只選$128 Buffet已可以吃得很滿足。沒多久主菜便奉上,Skirt Steak ($388) 選了Medium,這兒的牛是來這裡必吃的食物,微微的煙燻味和嫩嫩的肉質,極之美味,吃了很多塊呢Seafood Linguine (HK$168)讓人極之失望的菜色,入口無味,自己煮還更好,吃剩了大半碟。Risotto (HK$168)作為一名Risotto愛好者,當然會嘗嘗此家的出品。可惜,同樣讓人失望,味道十分奇怪。最後便是甜品時間,雖然只有幾款選擇,但想不到味道又不錯,最出色是Cheese Cake,入口軟滑,如果胃還有空間的話,誓必再吃一件。結帳時才發現有煙三文魚剛新鮮供應,那時已兩時多了,太遲了吧?是次用餐體驗是良

當然會嘗嘗此家的出品。

最後便是甜品時間,
雖然只有幾款選擇,
但想不到味道又不錯,
最出色是Cheese Cake,
入口軟滑,
如果胃還有空間的話,
誓必再吃一件。

結帳時才發現有煙三文魚剛新鮮供應,
那時已兩時多了,
太遲了吧?


是次用餐體驗是良好的,
如剔除以上其中兩樣主菜,
餐廳的食物質素是頗高的,
特別是Steak,
下次會再來光顧。

中午於蘭桂坊用膳,在朋友介紹下試了一間意式餐廳。餐廳格局悠閒,餐桌放置略迫,環境亦稍嘈。午餐以半自助型式提供,可只吃自助餐桌上的食物或加錢多點一份主菜。自助美食有十餘款,帶有地中海風味。火腿薄片原隻刨製,鹹香食味中規中矩,配上的哈蜜瓜則頗甜美。風乾香腸或酷醃製香腸有兩三款,普遍口感略硬,普通。沙律菜選擇不多,反而熟食菜蔬不少,茄子、蕃薯及秀珍菇味道皆不錯。釀製食物有釀蕃茄及釀雜椒等,餡料混上肉碎、雜菌及粟米等,口味層次上相對更豐富。追加海鮮扁意粉一碟,以茄汁調味為主,酸香醒胃,不過,質感稍見薄身。海鮮配料有青口、海蜆、蝦及魷魚,賣相碎小,不算出色。扁意粉頗有咬口,OK。生果盤有數款選擇,賣相一般。甜品有芝士餅及朱古力蛋糕,芝士餅口感軟身,不會過於膩口,OK。朱古力蛋糕則稍稍過硬,一般。

某日在 J2 看了盧覓雪的節目,介紹了《Bistecca》這一間肉感豐富的扒房,之後,一直都把這個地方鎖定,有朋友約食扒時一定推薦這一家。過年前,愛吃西餐的新老闆說團年,叫我去尋找一些好食的西餐廳,我的腦海就立即浮現了這一家位於蘭桂坊的《Bistecca》,公司一行三人就在中午的時間,來這兒做一個西式的團年。一入大門,我們就被這個肉淋淋的凍櫃吸引住了,層層疊的牛肉,看起來雖然有點恐怖,但當你腦海中只有牛扒的時候,這恐怖感就立即變成期望感,令你很想走入這一家 Butcher,看看上等的鮮肉。入內,另有一個凍櫃,而這一個小櫃就有如高級超市的牛肉部一樣,把是日的靚牛扒 display 出來,任君選擇。食普通的牛扒,要食特別一點的牛扒,就出來這一個肉櫃吧,自己選喜歡的那一片,那一款,食客們可以用心去選擇。沒有太花費去點這一個自選牛扒,我們只選擇食 lunch set,因為 lunch set 是包含了自助的 salad bar,當我們點好自己的牛扒時,我們便行出去,自行配搭自己喜歡的沙律。有牛肉,也有豬肉,沙律吧內最突出的,就是這一大隻火腿,這也立即令我放棄了選取蔬菜的原因。我自選的沙律,有兩

入內,另有一個凍櫃,而這一個小櫃就有如高級超市的牛肉部一樣,把是日的靚牛扒 display 出來,任君選擇。食普通的牛扒,要食特別一點的牛扒,就出來這一個肉櫃吧,自己選喜歡的那一片,那一款,食客們可以用心去選擇。

沒有太花費去點這一個自選牛扒,我們只選擇食 lunch set,因為 lunch set 是包含了自助的 salad bar,當我們點好自己的牛扒時,我們便行出去,自行配搭自己喜歡的沙律。

我自選的沙律,有兩款Ham,一隻是從剛才的大火腿切片出來的,另一個是預先切好的,其味道較咸,其他的,我只要了粟米同芝士,味道很是好。不過,因為要準備食那片12oz 的牛扒,所以大家都放棄了大吃頭盤沙律的機會。

12oz Rib Eye,燒得有文有理,以高溫把牛肉烤,店方亦有一個特別的燒烤架,可以讓師父輕鬆地邊烤邊自由調較烤盤的高度,來控制火及溫度的平均性。

店方很細心的,在每一片牛扒上都插有一支木棒,我細心一看,這代表了牛扒的生熟程度,上菜時,絕對不會搞錯。

Medium Rare 的 Rib Eye Steak,薄薄地烤焦了外皮,帶點微脆,Medium Rare 的肉質爽嫩,而且肉的質感結實,咀嚼下去的感覺十分之好,而且肉汁香甜,這牛扒輕輕地洒上了鹽,店方另配燒汁同 Rock Salt,但我始終喜歡牛肉的原味,向來都不愛加汁加味 (港式豉油扒除外)。

另一個是 Skirt Steak,中文就是《側腹橫肌牛排》是一個比較少人叫的牛扒種類,這一部份的牛肉,肉 texture 同一般的牛扒很不同。肉紋粗,但入口極之香嫩,而且質感亦比較腍,牛肉的香味更濃更重。

也是 Medium Rare的,同樣是外皮微脆。用刀切下,力度不需要大,因為 Skirt Steak 的肉質的確是比較嫩滑,入口時,這嫩滑感的確是可以不用多加咀嚼而吞,牛的香味也是極之濃烈,若是配上一杯紅酒,感覺更佳。

甜品,也是自助式的,不過已經近兩點,有不少的甜品已經被搶一空。小型的蛋糕,tiramisu,等等,選擇充足。

這一個中午套餐,雖然要$388一位,但有優質的牛扒相伴,亦有豐富的自助沙律吧、甜品吧,是物有所值。單是套餐的12oz牛扒,已經是品質優良,下次來,肯多花銀兩的話,自選牛扒,一定會食得更開心。

There were over a dozen items on the antipasti buffet.  Skipped a few that looked too oily, but everything I had was fresh and tasty. It was great to have lots of colourful and healthy vegetable items before the big steak. The bread basket served as a good companion to the antipasti, although the bread was not particularly memorable.

Rib Eye Steak (US Angus, medium well)
This was one of the best steaks I had recently, especially at lunch. It was slightly crispy on the outside and yet still juicy and tender inside. Tasted great by itself, and even better with a little bit of salt and sauce that were served on the side.

Dessert Buffet
Compared to the antipasti buffet there weren't that many choices at the dessert buffet. Had some fruit salad which was a great finish to the meal.

It was 8pm and we couldn't wait to get home to eat so naturally we ate out.We couldn't get through on the phone so chanced it and went in. There was a table available at the back. The light was very dim, I'm not sure if they adopted this because of the Valentines week that just passed but there were no candles on the table to make brighter. Anyways, the waiter we had was great and worth tipping. Another staff took our order, I chose the least expensive steak but he said that night, they do not have any good pieces left and recommended me another one and I was grateful he done that even though it was more expensive.

There was a variety of tasty complementary bread and raw vegetables with the sauces and oils required.

We ordered Black truffle mushroom Pappardelle / Tomato, Avacado (cold) / 20oz Fiorentina.

Maybe it's because its the 1st steak of the year 2014 for me but we both felt it was a phenominol meal. The Pappardelle had a potent truffle smell / taste and the 20oz steak came with loads of sauces although after we tried them all, it still tastes better dabbing the steak in quality crystal salt (also provided).

We over ordered and had to take out the left overs.

P.S. My dog loved the steak bone all night long haha!
题外话/补充资料: We used an HK$500 voucher we won from a draw earlier before

因為大K和Daryl大哥們都是牛扒的大粉絲,所以我們的聚餐就選擇了Daryl哥非常推薦的這家在蘭桂坊的餐廳。店裡的服務生很friendly,可能因為Daryl哥是熟客的關係,所以一見面就非常好聊。我們去的那時候剛好是lunch的時間,然後它們家正好有semi lunch buffet。不過我們1點多到,所以可以慢慢享受buffet的時間不多了,所以便選擇了散點的方式。牛扒我們一行5個人點2kg不算過分吧!而且這樣可以一次過試不同部位,非常抵食喔!我們一開始點的時候有說過要的是medium rare,不過有些部位(尤其是邊角的部分)做的有點太熟了,不過跟服務員反映了一下他們便為我們送上另一片牛扒,而且剛剛好是medium rare的。這點服務值得贊許喔!好味得牛扒只要沾一沾海鹽就夠了,不過它們還有很多不同的醬料讓你嘗試。我個人最喜歡的就是綠色的pesto醬,還有黃芥末(這個沾什麼都好好味)。黑松露炸薯條這個好好味!薯條炸得香脆,加上黑松露的香味搭配得剛剛好!不過最好還是盡快食完,因為擺久了之後就會便凍了香草炒菇這就是上一張照片裡薯條旁邊的那碗黑色的。有些人可能不大喜歡蘑菇類的味道,不過這

好味得牛扒只要沾一沾海鹽就夠了,不過它們還有很多不同的醬料讓你嘗試。我個人最喜歡的就是綠色的pesto醬,還有黃芥末(這個沾什麼都好好味)。

這個好好味!薯條炸得香脆,加上黑松露的香味搭配得剛剛好!不過最好還是盡快食完,因為擺久了之後就會便凍了

香草炒菇
這就是上一張照片裡薯條旁邊的那碗黑色的。有些人可能不大喜歡蘑菇類的味道,不過這道菜一食落就能嚐到很重的香草味喔!

芝士蛋糕
因為是熟客的關係,所以服務生們特別招待為我們送上一些buffet裡供應的食物,其中最值得推介的就是它們家的名物 - 芝士蛋糕了。這款蛋糕是屬於比較軟的,不過芝士味濃郁而不膩,而且入口既化,完全可以媲美外面專門賣芝士蛋糕的店舖!

總而言之謝謝Dary大哥請客!這絕對是享受的一餐

题外话/补充资料: * 我哋只喺叫咗2個main (已經唔喺每人1個main)...........都食唔晒..........因為揀咗個ribeye..........所以先要hk$25x/人.........下次真喺叫1個pasta/ panini嘅main嚟share就得喇...........咁就好抵喇 * 佢哋嘅semi lunch buffet由12.00noon - 3.00pm............當日sat仲好full添............我哋12.30pm嚟時...........已有近1/2場人食緊............而成舊parma ham供應完後...........我估唔會再拎另1隻出嚟.........當日大約1.40pm出埋嗰round就應該無..........應該可以頂到尾...........因為d人開始食甜品 * 不過佢dinner就貴好多喇

   原本book了12點,但是日打8號風,以為冇得食了,點知佢打嚟問我地仲黎唔黎,佢照開我當然照食,不過去到都2點。     全場唔計我地得一枱客,仲要係老闆同佢啲friend,已經鎖定目標,叫個12 oz rib eye 同tuna fish semi buffet,就出去攞啲頭盤食吓,有十幾款既選擇,有小弟歡喜既Parma ham 同 Salami,ham 味道OK,雖然唔係好高quality,但buffet之中算唔錯,仲有蜜瓜配,掂! 仲有啲釀蕃茄同釀青紅黃椒都好好味,前後食咗三碟,抵晒!   主角跟住出場,充滿碳燒香味既rib eye 黎喇!!!加少少鹽就已經好好味,juicy又有肉味,正正正。個tuna 其實都燒得好香,但當然個扒係最好味。啲菜加咗醋,好開胃,大王密密食!!!!!美中不足之處係冇包coffee or tea, 唔係就超正!!!

Bistecca 絕非單單以數量取勝,質量也是很棒的。其中最吸引人注意的自然是即刨的parma ham。因為是用機切,每片都刨得厚薄均一而且非常巨大。Parma ham 雖然是有點咸香不足,但哈密瓜清甜多汁,配搭起來也是非常味美!

其他前菜還有很多,像甜煮南瓜塊,薯仔沙律,focaccia麵包,魷魚仔,沙樂美腸,雜菇炒長豆,牛油粟米,甜煮蕃薯,燒菠蘿,水牛芝士配蕃茄,煙三文魚沙律等等,而我最喜歡的就是牛肉碎釀青/紅椒!本來討厭青/紅椒的我差點錯失了這道美味,幸好同行友人極力推薦!青/紅椒裡的牛肉碎當然好吃,牛肉碎上那些烤得脆卜卜的芝士條才真正令人回味哩!

Dessert buffet 則選擇很少。今次吃到有五款甜點和鮮甜的鮮果,味道普普通通啦不會讓人有一吃再吃的衝動,但整體水準可以接受。最喜歡它的cheesecake,是屬於軟身一類,綿綿滑滑又富有奶香,很不錯吃呢。

所以我個人來說是是非常推許Bistecca 的Appetizer & dessert buffet, 也認為它的種類和數量對午餐來說是非常的足夠,已經可以令人很感到很滿足!

不過一大幫人一起去食午餐,當然可以考慮加幾份主菜,價錢也是豐儉由人。價位如下:

12oz 的牛扒一點都不少,我很懷疑如果要一個人把它吃掉,那還能吃得下外面的Appetizers嗎?!大概有三、四人來分的話我覺得比較好吧(因為是中午,不是每個人都能吃得下一大塊肉呵)。這一次我們八個人分吃,每人只可以分一小塊嚐鮮。對應不同人的喜好,我們要了Medium。雖說外表看上去好像燒得有點焦焦的黑黑的,但裡面的肉還是漂亮的粉紅色,血水剛剛收乾的樣子。用刀子切開的時候只要輕輕一拉,就可以感受到牛扒的柔軟。肉汁不多,但入口綿綿的但還是有嚼勁,並帶有股若有若無的炭燒焦香氣和一點點鹽花的咸,非常可以突出牛扒自身的味道!Gravy相對下變得有點可有可無...

Bistecca Full Blood Lean Wagyu Burger
這個和牛漢堡也沒有令人失望。漢堡的味道非常的突出,但比牛扒的多了一點點不太強的騷味;漢堡有點彈性不會有死實的感覺,依然是選擇了medium,餐廳在火候控制上做得真的很好,裡頭也是嬌嫩的粉紅色!配菜的著條也炸得夠香口。雖然我覺得多加$80吃份西冷的滿足感會更加大,但這個burger還是很值得試一試。

Penne with meatballs & Seafood Linguine有點相似,因為用的都是同一款蕃茄sauce,味道都差不多!這個蕃茄醬不濃烈,甜味酸度都不強,蕃茄味卻是重的。個人比較喜歡配以meatball,雖然又是牛,但口感和味道和扒/漢堡又不一樣了,卻也一樣讓我大為心折~

在此再次謝謝各好友的一餐~ 吃到如此美味食物的我實在太幸福了!! ^^
题外话/补充资料: 因為我們午餐時間只有一小時,所以一般都很習慣pre-order食物。今次來Bistecca當然也不例外。吃驚的是,Bistecca在我們到埗10分鐘以內就給我們極速上了四個main courses!而且還是熱辣辣的。對我們來說這個舉動實在太好了,給他們的management 一個讚~!  ✦所有價為2/2013 version, 建議各食友自行上Dining Concept 網頁取最新資訊~~

We called in advanced for a booking, not only did they missed the booking; but also claimed that they called us and we confirmed a cancellation. Waiters are very grumpy , argued with each other and doesn't know how to smile. Appetite is gone once you've walked in basically..

暗暗燈光近門口放了巨型玻璃冷藏柜, 可看到不同種類和部位的牛排整齊排列著, 一看已流口水. 餐廳內到處都是笑聲, 氣氛一流!有香草蕃茄和橄欖的麵包, 又香又軟, 加上香香的橄欖油味我們連吃兩碟! 酒的選擇很多, 由二三佰到二三千元一枝的都有. 我們選了一枝 MEDIUM-BODIED 的西班牙紅酒配牛.肉味濃,炭燒時間掌握得準確, 燒得面是炭香的微焦的肉仍是粉嫩的. Arrived 10 minutes early and told the front staff of our booking. We were made to wait a little and got our table at 9 on the dot. However, we weren't sure what the system was because there were walk in customers who got their tables quicker than we did. Wasn't too hot about that. The original table we were assigned was in a really awkward position, sorta caught in between the walkway and a turn so we asked for one outside instead right in the corner. We moved.

We ordered a bottle of sparkling water to start. Then began looking intently at the menu. I decided on the ribeye done rare and the wife wanted the fillet mignon done medium. We couldn't make up our minds about starters, salads or sides but in the end, we figured we wanted everything to come at a go so we decided that we'll have sides (lots of it since they all sounded SO good) to accompany the meats.

Then we saw garlic nuggets - we just had to try it.

We were given a cup of veggie sticks and tomatoes to have alongside the house bread. House bread was interesting - cumin, black olives, rosemary. Not fantastic but an interesting marriage of flavours.

Then the garlic nuggets arrived. I assume the garlic was either boiled or slow fried first, then coated in breadcrumbs and again slowly pan-fried. They were really soft and mushy (in a good way that is) on the inside with a nice crispy exterior. Some stuff was sprinkled on to of it and the accompanying pomodoro sauce was pretty swell.

Half stuffed, we waited for the main stars, which arrived quite quickly after our starter plates were taken away. The fillet looked so good as if beckoning us to devour it immediately. The ribeye, fairly huge at 14oz, was sitting right in front of me, again asking to be eaten. Then the sides were served up - broccoli and garlic, new potatoes and zucchini fritters.

First the sides, broccoli and garlic was firm to the bite with garlic pieces and one chilli on it. It wasn't anything to shout about and strangely, had a little spiciness to it. The new potatoes were likely oven baked alongside garlic and cubed bacon/pancentta of sorts. Again decent, but nothing to really shout about. It wasn't bad but I've had better. Oh I forget to mention the potatoes had a slight sweetness to it. The zucchini fritters were coated in a light batter, fried and sprinkled with sea salt and either cayenne pepper or paprika. It looked oily but certainly didn't feel that way when we put them into our mouths.

The stars of the night were obviously the steaks. I cannot exclaim enough how downright sumptuous they were! The fillet was about 8oz (230 grams) was quite burnt on the exterior (in a good way). The wife gave me a nice sized piece to try and it though done medium, it was not dry, had spurts of juice and most of all, the flavour was full (perhaps from the aging). The heavy charring on the steak gave it a whole lot of character and a certain muskiness - which my wife simply loved.

The ribeye was astoundingly juicy, more so than the fillet obviously. The meat was tender, without the hard to chew bits that you sometimes find in other steaks. It felt so at home in my mouth and kinda makes you wanna just keep chewing on it to extract the juices. There were bits of fats but that's completely normal for a ribeye so it's not a complaint.

Halfway through our steaks, I asked one of the servers for horseradish (I remember I saw in on the menu) and he looked a little frantic and came back to our table with 2 wet wipes. That got my wife and wife cackling and I wonder if there was a problem with my diction. Then my wife made a second attempt with another waiter and we were brought some REAL horseradish - it was a good complement to the steak for sure.

By the time we got through our steaks and sides, we were completely stuffed to the brim.

All in all, it was a really good dinner. The sides and starters weren't anything to rave or shout about but they were in essence proper food that were done well. The tipping point was the steaks - TOTALLY MAKES UP FOR EVERYTHING ELSE MEDIOCRE OR BAD. The sides, the noisy clubs downstairs, the misinformed waiter, the slightly biased reception just somehow faded away when we had the steaks.

I will return when the carnivore in me calls for a repeat performance.

Anyway we were seated quickly, the dining room was a ghost town-never a good sign but as I said, I've never been out on a Sunday. But so far so good, the service was friendly, the atmosphere, although "quiet" for a crowded resto was good. Buzzing. Meat. The air smelt of meat.

We were eyeing the bone marrow in the glass case by the kitchen and the head chef commented loudly, "That's Bone Marrow", Yes sir I know I'm a steak-girl. Hawksmoor in London became a regular thing/regular haunt. Anyway, off the menu we got that with some toast, it came with tapenade. Very nice. For our mains, we decided against getting a steak each and stuck with one to share. Now the whole "concept" of steak here is that you get all these sauces as extra and order sides, so we got creamed spinach and these very very salty courgette fritters (so much so I really felt a bit meh after the whole meal)

With two martinis, two glasses of prosecco, a ribeye, two sides and a complimentary dessert (chocolate chip cookies) the bill came to just little over 900HKD, which, in my mind, is very reasonable for Lan Kwai Fong.

I would return!

Fiorentina : 32oz嘅porterhouse,上次食過medium冇得輸,表層陣陣嘅碳燒味,何等誘人,aged過嘅牛,肉味濃郁,肉質tender and juicy!確令人回味!今次食medium well........ Well, medium well is medium well, 冇可能期待有medium嘅juiciness、steak外層亦較硬同乾身,唯內層微實但尚算柔軟,整體可食度相對medium亦減了不少。

Zucchini Fries : 亦係第二次食,外皮炸得好似冇上次咁脆,內裡質地就較軟,但如果未食過,都recommend試吓

Sauteed wild mushroom : 有幾種菇,磨菇味幾出,聞都聞到,鮮冬菇放到入口先食到其冬菇香味,至於另一種較長身嘅菇,冇乜味,取其少少煙靭之口感吧

Charred Corn : 粒粒嘅粟米超甜,有啲燒焦咗啲嘅,一如其名,確係有啲焦香

Chicken invoiltine : 係用rosemay醃雞胸自卷成一舊之後拎去焗嘅,火候控制得幾好,外面少少燶燶哋,入面熟透但唔嚡,rosemary香則充滿整件雞,下低墊咗啲rocket leaves,冇處理過,冇乜特別,都算新鮮嘅

Caesar Salad : 呢個有別一般做法,上碟時嘅Romaine lecttuce只係一開二咁切開,原因係佢哋先grill一grill啲菜,如果切好哂應該都幾難grill。當然grill完之後可以切好至上碟,但我覺得佢哋呢個只切一刀嘅presentation都幾有新鮮感,喺一個既定嘅框框入面諗啲twist,唔好墨守成規,咁至有出路嘛,況且,客人自己切得靚一啲都唔難,就當有得食有得玩囉。講番個salad,裡面啲用料都幾好,anchovies唔係得個死咸,嗒落有咸魚香味,最重要係唔會腥,至於bacon都香口,唔似現成貨,烘得乾乾脆脆,就咁食都唔咸,當然夾埋啲菜食就更好。諗諗吓,對crouton冇乜印象,好似有落,但然冇印象,我諗都應該唔係出色呱。

埋單後有幾塊軟身朱古力曲奇,呢個夠甜,可以中和吓食唔落餐牌上甜品嘅我哋嘅味蕾

Didn't have to wait since i made reservations.My hubby wanted to try to Kobe but one look at the meat all brownish and dry he opted out and went for sirloin. Hence strongly suggest to check out the meat BEFORE ordering.Sirloin was cook to perfection, medium rare however over seasoned so the taste of the meat couldn't come through.I ordered the penne and it was very salty. i also ordered mushroom, zucchini and onions and they were all too salty.Overall besides the bread everything cooked was too

My hubby wanted to try to Kobe but one look at the meat all brownish and dry he opted out and went for sirloin. Hence strongly suggest to check out the meat BEFORE ordering.
Sirloin was cook to perfection, medium rare however over seasoned so the taste of the meat couldn't come through.

I ordered the penne and it was very salty. i also ordered mushroom, zucchini and onions and they were all too salty.

Overall besides the bread everything cooked was too salty. Ah! the cookies at the end of the meal was good, the only cooked stuff that tasted great.
