Rigatoni with Sausage and Black Truffle “Norcina” ,Norcina就是意大利Umbria地方最著名的一款醬汁,用當地的香腸拆肉加入菌菇做成濃醬,Rigatoni是一種通心粉,比Penne和Ziti大一些,嚼勁更佳,配合Norcina是William和Kate的結合,郎才女貌!
Baked Grouper with Ratatouille是友人點的,他大讚!待應說是龍脷,但看外貌魚肉身厚,像鱸魚和鱒魚類。

Apple Crumble with Vanilla Ice-cream平平實實的一個甜品,偏甜,配合意大利咖啡,是甜對苦,冰對火的誘惑衝擊,非常意大利的那種大開大合個性。
Fresh Berries with Cream and Kirsh就溫柔得多,沒有人會抗拒新鮮什莓的清甜,再加入奶油的軟滑,是一種婉麗的挑逗!
總覺得吃哪國菜色也好,還是吃正宗的地道的比較” 穩陣” !

去年年尾聽人話 Cinecitta 換了個手勢不錯的廚師 Patricio, 年頭咁啱係附近做了點事, 經過這邊看過餐牌好像食得過就拍板走了入去試試. 有食友可能會質疑食個午餐, 是食不出真偽的. 其實這樣說也不無道理, 我都經常掛在口邊. 但如果基本功夫都做唔到的話, 晚上就好極都有限也是真的. 其實西餐算係好少少的了, 例如在來這之前剛剛食過的 Otto e Mezzo, Robuchon L'Atelier, 其實中午同晚上水準都幾接近. 日本菜就比較上大分別得多了!中午有的 Business Lunch Menu, 價錢不算貴但食足 3 Courses 也要 $308, 但看清楚原來其實不包甜品或咖啡茶 (+$58). 再加加埋, 其實會同以上兩星店一樣價錢, 唯獨水準就未別是那卡士回事.先來個 Bread Basket. 有三款, 其實不錯的. 不知有沒有發覺, 好多香港的意大利餐廳嘅麵包籃看落也很似, 但要真正食落去口才會知味道如何. 這裡的是 pass 的, 但離好食就還差了些距離. Bread Basket. 有三款, 其實不錯的. 不知有沒有發覺, 好多香港的意大利餐廳嘅麵包籃看落也很似, 但要真正食落去口才會知味道如何. 這裡的是 pass 的, 但離好食就還差了些距離.

Washington Beef Carpaccio Cipriani. This was just a complete joke. The carpaccio weren't sliced on a machine but seemed like hand-beaten, as a nice gesture - but the beef were hammered so thin they stuck to the plate like it would too on your forehead! Picking it up with the fork or knife broke it into tiny beef flakes. Worst comes to worst, the beef was weak in flavour but this was drowned in Olive Oil. The parmesan cheese in contrast, were sliced way too thick to complement the beef. These small attention to details or lack of in an Italian Restaurant is often what make or break a restaurant's reputation! 3/10

Saffron Spaghetti with Lobster, Citrus Sauce. This turned out very different to what I had in mind. The colour might be there, but there is no saffron fragrance at all (not even fake ones! I should have stolen 208's saffron ice cream and insert a scoop on here!
) Worse still, the so called citrus sauce turned out to be plain cream which tasted nothing but cream, no citrus, no shellfish essence, with very little lobster pieces nor taste. If I had wanted a creamy pasta of this quality, I could have gone to some HK Chef Italian restaurants or even Japanese fast food chains like Te Spaghetti and Saizeriya. This didn't taste bad, mind you, it just doesn't belong in a real deal Italian restaurant. At least the commercial pasta is al dente, same as Te ! 4/10

Environment and Seating Arrangements is great here however, so is the attentive service!

I was going to order the Supplementary Lunch Dessert + Coffee for $58, but it turned out to be just a tiny pyramidal shaped chocolate mousse. What's the point of ordering that? I'll rather go to 7-11 and buy a 鳳仙 or HD Crispy Sandwich and get more satisfaction out of it!

Cine Citta used to be my canteen. I used to eat there almost every Friday night. For a reason I ignore, I had not been for a few years.Nothing's changed! The same Italian movies play while you eat so I can go there with the most boring date and you will still get some entertainment. Nothing's changed! The same Italian movies play while you eat so I can go there with the most boring date and you will still get some entertainment. The same great food ends up in your plate and stomach and the service has remained very kind and attentive, if not perfect.

For appetizers, we picked the scallops, the artichoke soups, the baked artichokes, the mozzarella with grilled vegetables and the house appetizers (a mezze of cold cuts, cheese and vegetables). Everything was very good.

For main, we had the risotto, the pici pasta and the baked gnocchi. The pici pasta was the best and my pick for my next meal there.

For desert, we had the limoncello cake, the bellini dome with berries, the cheese plate and the tiramitsu. The bellini gets the prize.

I think that my Italian grand-father would have approved and so do I. The food is simple, tasty, well cooked and gets to your table not too hot and not too cold (the goldilocks’ kind of cooking). For example, it is very difficult to make a good risotto: if it is too dry, it feels like Uncle Bens cooked it; if it is too wet, it becomes congee. Cine Citta’s risotto was exactly right and with a great taste of duck.

In all, a great experience and a great address that has maintained great quality for 10 years.

主菜方面,見意大利雲吞是Homemade,才苛打來試。正如有食友所講,成個餅印咁。外皮尚且煙韌,但餡料完全唔好食,還好醬汁做得夠醒胃,我才勉強吞得下三隻。

相比之下,我更喜歡燒大蝦,一上檯見其色澤和賣相已知對辦。蝦夠大隻,燒得香口,蝦肉彈牙爽口,味鮮,蝦頭部份更加多羔,甘香好吃。只恨得三隻大蝦,吃罷還是意猶未盡。

跟餐只有兩款甜品選擇,肯定要晒。Tiramisu質地濕潤,帶咖啡的香,以及點點的甜酒味道,吃落層次感豐富,很是美味。這是我近期吃過較為出色的意大利芝士餅之一。

Tiramisu出色,但另一款甜品Lemon & Mascarpone Mousses也毫不輸蝕。質感是軟滑,檸檬跟乳酪的酸味又是意想不到的合拍,絕對係清新又醒胃的一道甜品,我仍想Encore呢!

套餐就此完畢,但我們還未夠喉,仍想吃心太軟,另外再點也沒有問題。Bownie其實幾大件的,朱古力味亦算濃郁,但最失敗的地方就係唔夠流心,朱古力漿緩緩的流出,又怎樣滿足得了我等甜魔呢? 再者,雪糕又細球又不好味,比預期中差。

吃得很飽,當然如果午餐能包飲品會更理想。最後,希望對方過了十月之後,仍然可以有時間大家出來Lunch,咁就好了!

點了bigoli with duck ragout & porcini,賣相和色澤均十分討好。牛肝菌吃落很香濃,而意粉不像平日吃的軟身,反而煮得較「煙靱」,增加了嚼感。另外點了rack of lamb,羊架份量不少,有數支骨。羊肉經香草及黑胡椒粒等香料醃過,吃落十分香。羊架控制在五成熟,肉質非常嫩滑,咬落肉汁充足鮮味,屬水準之作。甜品要了Tiramisu,份量不多,但味道取勝。這裡的可可粉較日常吃到的香濃,而手指餅也增加了整件Tiramisu的質感,吃完一件也不會覺得膩滯。在星街小區想吃西餐的話cinecittà也算不錯的選擇。

吃過Cine Citta數次,質素依舊很好。這天在灣仔區,也就順道重臨這星街小區的店了。是次點了Risotto with Parma Ham & Cheese和Homemade Ravioli。Ravioli 味道很好,那伴底的白汁味道濃郁,牛油味很香。一碟五粒的份量剛剛好,不會太over。Risotto 煮的時間控制得好,入口有嚼勁。Parma Ham 咬落有鹹香味道,用作 Risotto 的配料很 match。芝士和Parma Ham 的份量用得剛好,所以吃落加倍香口,令人吃得停不下來。連芝士的 Risotto 很飽肚,吃罷已飽了一大半。Napolean 是每次到來都必點的。這裡的Napolean 很有名,即叫即製。每層酥皮都很薄,咬下很有口感,也不會太膩滯。而那 custard 則非常軟滑,果然是水準之作。店內有大量紅酒供選擇,那巨型酒櫃令人印象深刻。愛紅酒的朋友或可在這裡尋寶了。

數年前因為友人響度做既關係~ 曾經黎飲過野食過甜品. 記憶中甜品好好味, 環境不錯. 上個禮拜就walk-in黎dinner~環境依然幾好, 高級modern裝修. 裏面鬼多過人. 兩個人坐四人檯舒服~ 但見隔離二人檯d檯其實都幾近~麵包: 麵包好好食, 尤其bread stick. 脆得黎亦有重量~Italian ham with fresh fruit: Ham不錯. 唔會太咸. Fruit係一塊厚厚的蜜瓜同半個芒果. 芒果加ham唔OK. 芒果味太濃, 喧賓奪主. Ravioli: 好失望~ Ravioli個邊太硬. The menu was enticing enough but as we walked through the doors, it was deserted! Oh-oh... but too late, since we didn't really want to be rude. Granted it was only 7.30 on a Friday evening... and most would presumably still be getting to a happy state at the neighbouring bars in the Star Street neighbourhood.. The restaurant is known for and is spectacular in size with silent black-and-whites playing right of bar as you enter. There wasn't a whole lot of options since I was on medication

The restaurant is known for and is spectacular in size with silent black-and-whites playing right of bar as you enter.

There wasn't a whole lot of options since I was on medication but we did agree on sharing a couple of items. It was 2 hits out of 3 so we thought we did pretty good.

The beef carpaccio dusted with fresh parmesan, and strewn with rocket and fresh artichokes was actually very good. The thinly sliced beef was not at all streaky and rolled into the accompanying bounty well. A nice combination of flavours with nothing overpowering the other. A team effort!

The Gnochetti with "Guanciale" ham and black truffles in a carbonara was decadence epitomised and the sort of luxury on the palette I haven't enjoyed in a while. A wondrous combination although best to share since it can get overly rich on the senses if in abundance.

The "miss" of the evening was the chicken roll in the mains section. While decent enough, it just wasn't what we expected and we could just as well have ended dinner on the 2nd course.

An enjoyable place, and decently priced. I might just go back to try the other interesting pasta combinations.

情人節的食評隔了大半年才寫,因為實在不知道怎樣下筆。Cine Citta 一直是我很喜歡的餐廳,尤其喜歡她的甜點。在第七個情人節的特別日子,我們選擇了她。因為很早就訂位了,餐廳方面送了Moët & Chandon rosé champagne及即影即有一張。好像只可以叫情人節套餐,無所謂,反正看來也很豐富。套餐有 2 個頭盤 (share),主菜每人 2 選 1,跟 2 份甜品。不跟咖啡或茶,要額外點。 Foie Gras & Scallops - 鵝肝跟帶子不夠熱,味道不過不失。個人還是喜歡鵝肝配鮮果多於puree。 Pasta in cheese fondue & Gnocchi - Stuffed Pasta (不知道正確名稱,有點像Ravioli但size較大) 配上香濃芝士汁,非常香口惹味。可惜配菜Gnocchi太淡,拉低了整道菜的分數。 Grilled King Prawns - 加上甜椒及西柚,也差是清新的一味。發現了嗎?連大蝦也要拼成心形的樣子圍住配菜! Foie Gras & Scallops - 鵝肝跟帶子不夠熱,味道不過不失。個人還是喜歡鵝肝配鮮果多於puree。
Pasta in cheese fondue & Gnocchi - Stuffed Pasta (不知道正確名稱,有點像Ravioli但size較大) 配上香濃芝士汁,非常香口惹味。可惜配菜Gnocchi太淡,拉低了整道菜的分數。
Grilled King Prawns - 加上甜椒及西柚,也差是清新的一味。發現了嗎?連大蝦也要拼成心形的樣子圍住配菜!
Grilled Beef Tenderloin - 牛柳本身平平無奇,配上紅酒汁及藍莓也算特別。但那個Polenta是非!常!難!吃!!!
Caramelized Pineapple & Orange Ice-cream with Grand Marnier - 賣相漂亮,味道不錯,是全晚最滿意的一味--果然是我一直喜歡去吃甜點的地方。

其實Cine Citta本身的氣氛已經很浪漫,但真想不到平實的她在情人節那天也以心形食品來營造氣氛。 但由第一道菜開始已經是心形,看得多也太膩了吧?平時食物的Presentation好像比較漂亮啊! 個人還是不太喜歡點套餐,覺得平日À la carte的較好吃。

餐廳裏面原來很大,跟我想像中不一樣,一面落地玻璃可以看到街外景色,算頗開揚的.坐下來閒聊喝點東西應該也很舒服.午餐跟晚餐相比之下算是便宜,但味道其實只是一般,份量也不特別多.他們的menu蠻有趣的,有兩道或三道菜餐的價錢,但上面有前菜、pasta、主菜、甜點四道以供選擇.如果胃口很大的,除了甜點之外都點應該夠飽吧?(應該可以這樣點吧?)我點了三道菜的午餐.我們坐下就已經有一籃麵包供應.只能說還好,覺得不太夠熱.而且要跟侍應問才替我們倒橄欖油和黑醋.那個醋好奇怪,居然跟用來沾大閘蟹的很類似!可能真的balsamic應該是要這樣?也可能是我大鄉里?但我還是喜歡之前吃的那些,比較酸一點,比較醒胃.前菜是salmon carpaccio,就是生的三文魚?!不過我覺得比較像是煙過的.附上的toasted bread有點stale.三文魚太軟,甚至到了有點爛的程度.可能是因為太薄了?橄欖油我嫌它下得太多,吃到滿口都油似的.至於生菜呢,感覺不太新鮮.就是賣相很好,顏色超appetizing的!因為不想吃太多肉,就點了pasta: penne with fresh tomato and chili.

因為不想吃太多肉,就點了pasta: penne with fresh tomato and chili. Chili呢,是甜的那種,不用怕會辣.Penne有夠al dente,其實還算是偏軟一點,但還是彈牙.那個creamy tomato sauce超棒(最後拿麵包一直沾那個sauce來吃),只是那些新鮮番茄不夠多也不好吃.為甚麼是用櫻桃番茄呢?好詭異.如果可以,放sun-dried的更好.不過當然價錢就不同了.

友點的魚據說不錯,起碼不腥.

甜點只有一個選擇:chocolate salami.其實就是朱古力嘛.後來再wiki一下,咦!原來是葡萄牙的傳統甜點,不是意大利的喎!一客有三款: milk, white, dark chocolate.朱古力算是滑溜,加上了餅乾,口感很有趣.(平常是餅乾裏包着朱古力嘛.)味道很好,即使吃了三塊(友只吃了一小部分)也不會覺得膩.就算是白朱古力都不會過甜,只感覺到很香很香的牛奶+糖味.

午餐不包茶或咖啡,這也沒所謂.不過那瓶Panna要60大洋.覺得很貴也算了,問題是看起來也不像新開的(可能是我沒注意.怎麼老是遇到這種水的問題?).這是繼Dakota Prime那瓶$80的水之後喝過最貴的水.

幸好聊得算愉快,不過如果是為了食物是不會再去的了.

有同事生日, 我們一起請佢食午餐., 選址在Cine Citta , openrice 既 comment 都唔差, 又有幾多人來此食生日飯.我們一坐低, 就有暖暖餐飽, 可點olive oil 和醋一起食, 好開胃又好味點了五款食物napolean. 是即叫即製, 個custard幾滑, . 個酥皮都幾 輕身, 都幾好味呀antipasti: deep fried bread mozzarella with rosso lettuce味道 普通risotto of parma ham and cheese, 這risotto軟度剛好, 酣不錯Homemade Ravioli with Sea Bass Spring Onion, Butter Sauce 好味道Puff Pastry with Custard Card and Strawberry 好好味 Dessert good!Overall, 樣樣都幾好味, 而且份量都好夠, 大家對今次的午餐都 feel good! "la domenica al cinecitta"$248 per head and minium for 4 people to have this menu. So each dishes shared together. But the portion was very little. Total of $1000 seems a good price, but such small portion made me feel they are very "cheap". Free corkage but only for 1 bottle of wine. And I ordered one more wine for $420 also. So it's about $450 per head. Food quality was super, but the size of the dishes need to improve. Can you just add little more rice or spaghetti please? Or just skip the so

--- Pan fired sea bass, it is fresh one and the skin is very crispy. I like it but very small portion 9/10

--- Soft and nice cooking but not very suprise. 8/10

DOLCI

Mixed nuts ice cream
--- Very nice ice cream and again it is sorbet texture. FULL of nuts and very delicious 10/10

Nov4, 2008I had the wine dinner with Luca Winery. And we had the following dishes1. Pumpkin tart on castelmagno fondue with winter black truffle, pair with "21 Settembre" arneis 2007--- Very strong black truffle smell, the cheese is very strong too but not overcome the truffle at all. I had the wine dinner with Luca Winery. And we had the following dishes

1. Pumpkin tart on castelmagno fondue with winter black truffle, pair with "21 Settembre" arneis 2007
--- Very strong black truffle smell, the cheese is very strong too but not overcome the truffle at all. Pumkin tart is light, as a result perfect match with the cheese. 9/10

2. Carnaoli risotto with shaved white truffle polenta, pair with "castelve" barbera d'alba 2005
--- Super white truffle taste and the rice is medium body. Well maded. SUPER. 10/10

3. Slow cooked beef in nebbiolo wine served with truffle polenta, pair with "ceisa" nebbiolo d'alba 1999
--- The truffle polenta is VERY nice, lots of white and balck turffle in there. FULL of taste. That is even better than the beef. For me, I dont like the way how to cook beef. So this kind of beef is not my favourate, but it is well made also. BUT the wine is perfect matched. Full of " Chinese dry plum" taste, long finishing and very floral nose. 9/10

4. Puff pastry with truffle ice cream, pair with "sognando" barbera & nebbiolo
--- Texture is not really ice cream but it is more sorbet style. Very special and delicious. 9/10

White truffle menu usually over $1000 per head without wine pairing, so it is very reasonable price.

我地一行二人, 揀左可以睇到大螢幕的四人座位坐低, 因為那位置會睇得較多間餐廳的間隔佈置。 我地一坐低無耐, 侍應就送黎好多麵包係我地面前, 咁我地就食麵包囉。 我地叫左「意大利雜菜湯」、「自製意大利粗麵伴鴨肉醬‧牛肝菌」、「自製意大利幼麵‧黑松露菌」、「自製意大利雲吞釀茄子‧芝士‧蕃茄汁 」,還有我們都喜歡吃的 Tiramisu。全部都係一份兩人 share。 雜菜湯味道好清, 唔似街邊個 d 所謂的雜菜湯咁濃味, 我覺得幾好。 我最鍾意都係意大利粗麵, 比一般的意粉粗身, 而且比較硬, 但係我好鍾意呢種質感, 好有彈力。 我覺得意大利幼麵‧黑松露菌的味道好怪, 好似酥酥地, 唔知係咪 d 上面的芝士粉的關係? 雲吞都幾好呀, 雲吞皮的厚度同埋軟硬都很適中。 Tiramisu 都好好味, 中間的餅做得好多好厚, 比起好多其他的 Tiramisu 更好, 但係我覺得酒味唔多夠, 而且又細件... 但係個日 lunch 同埋 tea 我都食到好飽, 否則我會要求叫多一碟野食~ 張桌又擺左一支紅玫瑰, 環境都幾浪漫既~ 侍應的態度都很好, 不時都問我們仲有無野想叫, 不過後面的顧客比較嘈

埋單都唔過 $700, 以食物的質素都 reasonable 呀。
