My friend has tried this restaurant with her hubby, and say the burger is somehow juicy and very nice. Today we are here at TST and we just walk in. My friend has tried this restaurant with her hubby, and say the burger is somehow juicy and very nice. Today we are here at TST and we just walk in. There are only 4 tables with people as it's already 1:30pm.

Bread: French bread with butter n green olive n sea salt, very nice!

Soup: The lobster soup is creamy n with a nice lobster taste with some cream on the top, looks nice too~

Main course: Lucques Burger, quite nice, at first i thought it's small size, i shared with my friends and end up with a very full tummy~  The patty is juicy as my friend suggested and it's nice with the lovely bun....

Drink: I ordered milk tea....very diluted tea with just milk....I suggest to have coke if anyone will come here...

I have ordered Coke when ordering our meal, however, the coke never came, so i changed my mind and have milk tea. Usually milk tea can tell whether a restaurant pay attention to details....disappointed.

There are around 4-6 waiters chit chating at the counter of the restaurant, i think which is very not "professional".  If you want to be served, good luck!

The waiter give us the attitude when we ask for a parking ticket when paying.  It is alright if they don't  give us one that exceed our payment, but at least be decent about trying to get one or not to give us the annoying attitude.  I feel like the waiter has treat us like beggers....just because we ask for a parking ticket??? !!!

I personally will not return to this restaurant because of its service plus i do not think the burger is really a lot better than BLT. BLT has fries to choose and here you don't get a choice. I don't see why i want to spend over $150 for a lunch set and be treated like dirt....never again....

Roasted Turkey。一人份的烤火雞份量超多,五六片的火雞肉,下面還藏著大量火雞餡料,旁邊還有Candied yams、薯蓉和青豆。火雞雖然是一貫的偏嚡,不過勝在切得夠薄,加上紅莓醬同吃,味道也不錯。旁邊的Candied yams不錯,甜甜的煮得很腍身,相比之下薯蓉雖然幼滑,但還是Candied yams特別一點。

Pumpkin Pie。南瓜批的南瓜味比南瓜湯更濃,每一口都像是在咬南瓜,質感有點像中式糕點,我們笑說像軟身的砵仔糕呢。

Apple Pie。蘋果批帶有中式的影子,因為批皮的味道有點像雞批,淨吃批皮的話會吃到鹹味,所以伴著爽脆的青蘋果粒一起吃,味道就剛剛好。順帶一提Thanksgiving Menu裡的甜品是可以南瓜批和蘋果批二選一。

吃罷一人份的套餐,我們就繼續吃餐廳裡的招牌主菜。

Tomahawk Rib Eye Steak for 2 (28oz) ($788)。餐廳所用的牛肉來自加州Brandt 家族經營的牧場,全部都是三百日的穀飼牛,標榜天然無激素,吃得健康又安心。炭烤過的Tomahawk Steak肉質粉嫰,肉味濃郁,雖然有一小部份帶筋,但仍不失為一塊好扒,而且$788這個價錢是挺抵吃的。伴碟的通常都是什菜沙律和薯仔,在這裡竟然見 到了芥蘭,原來南加洲人都會吃芥蘭的,我還以為只有中國人才吃呢。

Catch of the day (時價)。今晚的是Swordfish,如果不告訴我的話會以為是豬扒,不單只是賣相似,就連口感也似。我不常吃劍魚,同檯食友說這麼肥的劍魚不多,問過店員原來這是來自冰島的,難怪脂肪會那麼厚,而味道與口感都挺特別,喜歡吃魚的朋友可以試試看,但記得這是Catch of the day,所以並不是每天都有。另外在魚扒下面墊著米飯與蕃茄,酸酸的挺開胃。

蟹肉龍蝦芝士通粉($208),這可算是全晚最邪惡的一道主菜。菜式用上大量芝士、蟹肉和龍蝦肉,而芝士汁會藏在通粉裡,所以吃的時候要小心辣嘴。芝士汁香濃,蟹肉幾乎完全和芝士汁融合在一起,本來以會會很漏,但一口又一口的接著吃,完全沒有這種感覺,絕對是重點推介。

Apple Tart Tatin。這是公關先生極力推薦的,賣相比一般的蘋果撻華麗一點,雲呢拿雪糕球上面加了天然Honeycomb 蜜糖和一條雲呢拿條做裝飾。整道甜品的味道配搭很不錯,不過批底弄得腍了點,而且青蘋果入口幾乎即化,個人覺得保留少許爽脆口感會好吃一些。

Limoncello Cheese。一向都不太熱衷於甜品,不過Limoncello口味卻沒吃過,吃後覺得水準不錯。蛋糕用的是Cream Cheese,所以口感較為輕盈,而且不會太甜,作為芝士蛋糕是合格的,可是檸檬味並不突出,除了Cream Cheese本身的味道外,就沒有吃到其他味道了。

一口氣嚐了很多東西,但並沒有很滯漏的感覺,通常吃到甜品時戰鬥力會大減,是晚卻越戰越勇,程度上是因為這裡的食物不像一般美國菜般大堆頭,不是全部都是肉,也有菜有魚,感覺更均衡所以就可以吃多一點了。

今日相公大人想吃西餐,在海港城處理完私事,起前DannRyan的舖位開了一間美式餐廳,印象中是和Little Italy同一集團的,決定一試!8:00到達,先在門口看看menu,嘩!不是嘛,二人dinner set有頭盤有主菜兩款加甜品都只係$488?平得有點過份,好,入座先算!餐廳只得半滿,被安排了卡座.再看看menu,散點是貴的,同樣的食物在set dinner menu入面變得化算很多!問過持應,他說set的份量跟散點的是一樣!好,我們決定要set,頭盤選生蠔4隻,主菜選awesome mixed grill ,甜品選apple tart.另外散點了洋蔥湯.生蠔很快便送上,沒甚特別,一般生蠔囉,都頗新鮮的!洋蔥湯,很燙口!厚厚的芝士,配合已沾滿洋蔥湯的麵包,洋蔥湯十分鮮甜.awesome mixed grill ,有牛扒,春雞,德國肉腸,羊架,伴菜是蕃薯.用木枮板上枱,感覺很raw!牛扒我們點了五成熟,很香碳火味,也很juicy,沒有牛扒汁,用了枮板上的sea salt調味,已經很好味!羊架點了七成熟,和香草配合得宜,可惜只得兩件,不夠喉!德國香腸,我們估計是鮮肉腸,因為十分ju

好,我們決定要set,頭盤選生蠔4隻,主菜選awesome mixed grill ,甜品選apple tart.另外散點了洋蔥湯.
生蠔很快便送上,沒甚特別,一般生蠔囉,都頗新鮮的!
洋蔥湯,很燙口!厚厚的芝士,配合已沾滿洋蔥湯的麵包,洋蔥湯十分鮮甜.
awesome mixed grill ,有牛扒,春雞,德國肉腸,羊架,伴菜是蕃薯.用木枮板上枱,感覺很raw!
牛扒我們點了五成熟,很香碳火味,也很juicy,沒有牛扒汁,用了枮板上的sea salt調味,已經很好味!
羊架點了七成熟,和香草配合得宜,可惜只得兩件,不夠喉!
德國香腸,我們估計是鮮肉腸,因為十分juicy,切開時肉汁四濺!
春雞的皮燒得很香,雞肉也很嫩滑,旁邊有兜汁是春雞的調味,浠浠的,我們試了多遍都不知道是什麼味道來.
蕃薯蓉,相公大人覺得太甜,我就覺得ok啦,但如可選焗薯或薯條之類會更好!
Apple tart,很精彩,旁邊有 honey,有一球雲尼拿雪糕,,上黑色一條的是原條鮮雲尼拿!我當然不會浪費,立即取出雲尼拿籽伴雪糕吃!
蘋果煮得恰到好處,不會太淋,也不會太酸.最底是酥皮,整個apple tart的配合是十分好的,也算得上是小妹吃過最好的apple tart!
因餐廳燈光昏暗,所以相片顏色有點奇怪,請見諒!
此二人餐實在超值,所以不久後我們又再到訪,試埋牛扒和漁夫精選,有機會再送上另一篇食評!

I love going to newly opened restaurants because everything is so nicely decorated and new. The servers put on their nice smiles and are eager to please.  The tablecloth and napkins are crispy and neat.  The seats feel so comfy and no greasy tables or floor.  That's exactly the feeling when I walked in the Lucques Tavern, made perfect by the warm relaxing lighting and the American wood decor.   And best of all, because it is new, very few people know of it and there was no wait on a Friday night

I went there once before and was super impressed by their lunch specials.  I have persuaded three friends of mine to go there with me and try the super seafood platter and Brandt steak. We were prepared to put down some money for some really good food.  
We were, however, pleasantly surprised that they had an introductory dinner set offer of $488 for two people. Only about $250 per person!  After looking at the menu items offered, we all could not resist but have the dinner set.  We ordered two dinner sets for 4 people. 

The sets came with appetizer, entree and dessert.  Appetizer was a choice of 4 big fat oysters on half shell flown from France or 4 chicken lollipops (wings), crispy on the outside and succulent with BBQ sauce. Yum Yum!!

Then came the entrees. We had 4 choices.  We ordered an 8 oz Brandt club steak shipped directly from the supplier (farm to table), a market fresh cod fillet and a Mixed Grille for two.  The organic Brandt steak served on a bed of arugula was so flavorful, juicy and tender that I did not even use the peppercorn sauce that came with. The sea-salted fries was a nice complement.  The cod fillet was delicious and delicate, but what surprised us were the tiny finger long potatoes with skins and the assorted mushrooms that came with. They tasted naturally sweet and were perfect with the sauce. 

What we were really not prepared for was the AWESOME Mixed Grille for two.  When it came, all four of us just "wow".  There were so much food on the wooden tray - a 6-8oz (not sure) Brandt ribeye, lamb rack,  1/4 rotisserie chicken, 2 slices of grilled ham and 2 bratwurst sausages, a tub of mashed sweet potato and corn.  The food for two could easily be for at least three people. Needless to say, everything including the sides was just heavenly.  It wasn't just the presentation and the cooking, we could really taste the difference in the quality of the ingredients from other average ingredients served in other average restaurants. We were told by the servers that all ingredients had been carefully selected and prepared to ensure freshness and quality. 

Last but not least, the dessert.  By then, we were so full that we all said we're just going to have a bite only.  We had a choice of Apple Tart or Cheesecake and we ordered one of each. The apple tart had a tiny honeycomb on top and the honey just melt in your mouth. Both desserts were so pretty that we just looked and admired them.  In the end, of course, they tasted so good that we had to clean the plates. 

We really enjoyed our dinner.  And the attractive price which was only about $250 per person made it even more fun. It was definitely a good promotion to have us try out their food at an unbelievably low price.  We found out actually this restaurant is run by the same people who owns the reputable Dan Ryan's and Ameroni's, only this restaurant is more upscale.  The style is more current, light and health conscious.

We laughed and we joked and said we had to have the dinner set every week until they don't offer it anymore.  We were told that their wine selection was excellent too.  However, as my friends and I don't drink, we just settled for tea and coffeee which were very good too.  Time flies when you're having fun.  And suddenly we realized it was almost 11:30pm when a server brought out a beautiful sundae with assorted ice cream and candles called "Every Day is Sunday" for a birthday girl at another table.  Luckily, the restaurant opens till midnight.  We left the place feeling Very Very Satisfied.  We all know that even without the introductory dinner set, we will gladly come back, paying full price for quality and service and would still consider that as good value.
题外话/补充资料: The restaurant is at the location where the Dan Ryan's in Ocean Terminal was. They now have an introductory dinner set that is $488 for two people. I think it is really a not to be missed opportunity to try out their food at a very attractive price.

We still had our main courses.  Especially worth mentioning was the Carbonara pasta.  Such a common dish, but it was creamy and had a lot of bacon that made it very flavourful.  The salad was fruity summer salad with nectarine and chicken and fresh greens. We were told the uniqueness of the restaurant is "farm to table" and all ingredients are fresh and of first rate quality.  We were also impressed by the service.  As we were sharing the food, the waiters kept on changing our plates so we had clean plates for every dish.  That was really a great plus for enjoying the food. 
题外话/补充资料: The lunch special is of great value. We were told that the Brandt steak that they serve is directly shipped to them form supplier and is organic, totally "farm to table" as what they claim to be. I definitely will try it next time. We saw another table ordering a seafood platter of oysters, crab legs, mussel, lobster tail, and shrimps with lemon and 4 different sauces, that made our heads turn. Although it's not cheap, costing around $550. But that definitely was impressive and a great appetizer to share with friends. I definitely will go there for dinner.

My Korean family came for a trip, so we had a great day sightseeing. Before heading to TST, I called plenty of steak houses but done of them have place for 6 after 8 pm.  I gave up for booking originally but when we were heading to LCX, I found this restaurant.
I used to enjoy my dinner there (precious one), so I booked a table there and felt so lucky to find a nice place. 

After the show, we head straight to the restaurant. It was surprising as it s not even half full on public holiday.

We ordered a spinach salad, a club steak, a steak with lobster, and a crab cheese macaroni.

The salad was not bad, with cottage cheese n bacon.

The macaroni s also satisfactory with lots of shrimp n crab meat.

However, the club steak was awful. We ordered for medium but it came like well done. Maybe the chef just checked for the temperature but didn't notice the cooking time. It was red in the middle and just warm, but just too dry and no beef taste. 

And the lobster is also also cooked and dried out. The steak is also bad, it is medium but no beef taste.

My family said it was the worst steak they had and with that prices was simply not acceptable. 

We gave up the meal and complain to the manager. He just told us he was sorry and agreed that the food looked too dry.

We waited for some time but the chef did not come out so we asked for the bill. The manager canceled the club steak for apology. But what I wanted was the Chef's but not his.

My question is :
Finishing the meal makes me feel bad, wasting the food also makes me feel bad, so what can you do for me?

Please improve or the restaurant will end up bad just like the food.

I visited on a Friday evening , the restaurant was full and buzzing with all types of folks and the Chefs were very busy plating dishes in the open kitchen ( which I really like), I was in the mood for a steak and I saw on the menu Lucques was offering real natural beef from California!! I had to try it , I ordered the Brandt Beef Top Cap Ribeye , I was not sure what Top Cap really meant but was willing to give it a try, OMG!!! ( I ordered mine medium) It came out on a wooden board , 2 slices exposing the inside and the perfect doneness. There was also a whole clove of creamy warm roasted garlic , and really nice little potatoes I think they called fingerling. Very tasty!! I also washed it all down with a glass of a VERY nice California Zinfandel , Segesio Vineyards and was a very happy camper. I will certainly be back for the warm

幫小友從Kid's menu中揀了個漢堡包餐,裡面包有一小杯"Very Strawberry & Banana Smoothies"。這一種甜甜哋的soft drinks一向他就最喜歡了,一看到他固之然愛不惜手喝個不停啦,但自己身為一個大個子,對於這款以香蕉與啤梨混合後出來的那種近乎像藥水般的味道卻是真的受不了;相反自己叫的lemonlime bitter,於炎夏令人流晒汗的天氣底下,呷一口清新冰涼喝後讓人口喉頭一爽的青檸水進口,簡直是天賜下來的解渴巨星...

太太少有的點了平時她不太好的沙律,而且竟是相對地較健康的啤梨片配菠菜的組合。菠菜是一如menu所講很是幼嫩顏色亦翠綠;墊底的啤梨又爽又夠甜。這樣的配搭只需用一個以黑醋及青檸做出來的醬汁作調味,出來的效果已是相當的refreshing了;除這兩款主要材料之外還有大大片有刻意炸得香脆過的煙肉及奶味足的cream cheese,實在令人討好....

專為小兒而設的小型漢堡事實上一點也不小。做得最出色的是那個烘得熱辣而軟熟又帶微甜的包;漢堡牛肉的肉汁是有的但不算豐盈;肉質則略帶嚡口但不至於多筋,只是一般的水平;夾在包中的蕃茄大大片既新鮮多汁又顏色鮮艶;薯條不是即弄即炸咬落有些濕軟,賣相及味道跟麥當當的出品無異....

All-day breakfast的份量比起外頭的美式餐廳來講不算很大堆頭。多士雖只薄薄的一片但食落超脆;太陽蛋的蛋白部份十分厚身,外圍邊位是金黃帶脆而蛋白亦沒過份焦燶。嬌艶欲滴的蛋黃更是賣點之一;black pudding的texture稍覺散了一些;火腿鹹度剛好又夠厚,咬入口很具質感;焗薯塊一點都不油膩,本身也很夠粉糯,是一個有水平的side dish....

八安士的高級肉眼扒連配菜及調味放置於一塊木板上,是很美式的做法。侍者很細心的預先將之開半方便我倆進食。要了medium well的熟度出來的效果自不然是肉汁較少較乾,不過扒的邊位烤得帶微脆而富焦香,再加上超淰的肉質故此令人食得頗愜意;另有一功的是那原個烤出來的蒜頭。對我倆這個真正的逐臭之夫婦來講就啱哂脾胃;烤薯的樣子弄成像花生米一般,不滲一些油份的它食起來亦不會太乾,不俗....

new restaurant to replace dan ryans. we were told it's the same group.interior is fresh and cozy. good start. service is nice.we ordered the lunch set. lobster bisque was bland. we had a quarter chicken (bland) with mac and cheese (spicy). we also had lobster, crab and shrimp on a hot dog bun (they call a roll) and it was also bland.not satisfied we tried the chicken lollipops. It was spicy. the bbq sauce was heavy and thick. it came with cucumbers (that were soft and soggy) in some kind of crea

因為是晚突然想飲洋蔥湯,而這裡的
Classic Baked French Onion Soup($80)一點沒有令人失望! 很欣賞湯並非猛下鹽的死咸貨色,反而芝士與洋蔥均很充料,味道香濃得來清甜美味,加上豐富一層浸泡得軟身的多士,是相當的美味,識食的寶寅也喜歡將麵包點湯來吃!

Baby Spinach Salad with Seasonal Fresh Pears, Feta and Candied Walnuts($118),超喜歡那爽嫩可口的BB菠菜,加上甜梨以及Feta芝士後甜咸交錯,味道十分豐富! 同上的合桃亦脆口美味,反而我覺得煙肉可以不用那麼多,情願多點菜吃更加健康又清新美味。

終於另一小主角也到場,我家寶寶樂極了,大人也樂於正式展開主菜環節:首先是打孖上的
The Lucques Burger($138),大大個漢堡包身鬆化,厚厚一層漢堡牛肉既夠juicy又有肉味,並加上清新火箭菜、蕃茄、芝士同煙肉,相當的美味! 不過伴碟的幼薯換上粗薯,就會更正!

($278)賣相較為普通,切時感覺肉質亦比較實身,不過應是豬扒較厚的緣故,事實上吃來是富有肉汁,又沒多少豬燥味,挺不錯呢! 而且墊底的無論是紅蘿蔔、薯蓉以及蘋果蓉均十分清爽、香甜又美味,我與寶寶都吃了不少。而且成品夠好厚身夠大份,一份足夠八個大人分享,相當抵食的。

Rotisserie Oven Chicken with Baked Macaroni & Cheddar Cheese($198),果然是店內signature dish,雞隻焗後仍然超滑且富肉汁,香草口味夠突出,點上檸檬汁同吃更覺清新美味! 我也超喜歡它的配菜,無論是爽脆嫩甜的BB椰菜,抑或是香濃充滿芝味、又有口感的macaroni,均非常美味合意,後者更連為食寶寶也吃了不少,還展現出搞笑yummy face呢!

太飽關係,來到甜品環節聽完侍應介紹後,忍痛捨棄了Lemon Tart,只點了餘下四款:首先是
Apple Tart Tatin($65),成品超級巨大,面層還加上一大球雲尼拿雪糕,令人超開心! 雖然那酥皮不算很清脆,但勝在鬆化又充滿牛油香,中層的蘋果蓉又極度甜美,再加上冰凍的雪糕同吃,仍是相當滿足!

($68)的份量又是十分巨大,而且賣相煞食之極,但慢著.... 面層大大球的不是雪糕,而是忌廉? 那可有點膩了,雖然拖肥蛋糕香甜鬆軟又潤澤,但整個組合相對會較其他甜品失色。

這裡的甜品份量都很大,以價位來計抵食非常,反而是最貴的
'Every Day is Sunday' Sundae($85)卻比預期中小巧,不過就勝在組合十分豐富,又點會著蠟燭上檯,令人份外開心,我家寶寶馬上就當是自己生日,還興奮大唱Happy Birthday song! 
 而事實上,Sundae中的brownie是超水準的甜香甘濃,外脆內軟,燒棉花糖又是非常可口,加上美味的三色雪糕(當中超愛濃郁的朱古力味!),以及小巧薄身清脆的甜筒,組合是非常甜美迷人的。

Rotisserie Roast Chicken w/ Macaroni & Cheese $88: 8分, 到了主菜方面, 我們的選擇就是店方的招牌菜色烤雞. 其實午餐有兩個烤雞的份量供選擇, 四分之一隻的賣價是$88, 如果是半隻的話, 賣價就是$168. 我們只要了四分之一隻, 份量也相當不少, 足夠我們兩個人分吃. 雞肉烤得相當香口, 香草味道突出. 雞肉嫩滑, 尤其喜歡黑肉部份.

Warm Sticky Toffee Cake $68: 8分, 到了甜品的部份, 當然是我們最期待的部份. 先來的是Warm Sticky Toffee Cake, 根據餐牌所講, 這款店方的招牌甜品是由大廚在南加州旅行時啟發出來的, 那是否很甜呢? 畢竟我在南加州多年, 吃的甜品也是偏甜為主. 不過是日吃到的Warm Sticky Toffee Cake, 拖肥的甜度還算合宜, 質感對辦, 更像客布甸, 帶點暖身. 配上面頭的mascarpone忌廉同吃, 更豐富了味道.

: 7分, 又是根據餐牌所講, 這道甜品是unlike any you’ve ever had. 檸檬芝士餅吃得多, 這裡供應的, 檸檬味道是比較清新, 不會太酸, 質感不會太實, 至於餅底方面, 是不太香脆的. 面頭還加上點點忌廉, 正好中和了檸檬的酸味, 令到這道甜品的平衡是做得不錯. 不過, 是否真的那麼與別不同, 又好像不是很特別.

雖然供應的是加州菜, 不過又好像跟我小時候吃到的不太相像, 但無論如何, 店子的整體水準是不錯的, 特別推介的會是Rotisserie Roast Chicken以及Warm Sticky Toffee Cake. 價位方面, 午餐實在是相當抵食, 而我們埋單每位$119, 計及這裡的地段, 環境, 食物質素等等, 實在是相當合理. 不過店員的服務態度只算一般, 不知道是否因為這時段人手不足之故呢.
