This is the first time in Hong Kong that I was forced to pay the bill and leave while we hadn't finished our food. The reason given was that someone was waiting outside. We emphasized that we hadn't finished our food yet, to which they replied that it was already 1:30 PM and we arrived at 12:00 PM. We pointed out that there was no time limit for dining in the restaurant, but they insisted that someone was waiting. This has been the worst dining experience I've had in Hong Kong in the past ten years. I can accept a clear indication of dining time and that they ask us to eat faster if someone is waiting. However, I cannot accept being forced to pay and leave while customers are still eating, simply because an hour and a half has passed and someone is waiting. This truly disgusts me. I will never return. The food is just the flavor of a bagel. People go there more for the relaxed weekend atmosphere. If it can't provide that relaxed feeling, then just eating a bagel isn't enough. Sorry, but the taste isn't that appealing. DISGUSTING🤮

Visiting this cozy cafe for their signature bagel sandwich! I opted for their house-smoked salmon bagel sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The bagel was perfectly toasted, offering a delightful crunch that contrasted beautifully with the silky, flavourful smoky salmon. This is properly the best smoked salmon I have tried! To complement my meal, I chose a refreshing lychee ginger kombucha. Its delicate sweetness paired with a zing of ginger created a harmonious blend that invigorated my palate. Lastly, the coleslaw added a crunchy, tangy element to my lunch, making it a well-rounded meal.This lunch combos costs $148, which worth its price!

它开业不久的时候就来探过店,没想到如今成了我在工作日稳定回购的食堂。多惊艳算不上,但能把人从一上午的班味中暂时解救,便已经足够。·价格不算平,但调味和搭配整体在线,配料、抹酱和芝士都给得很大方。工作日lunch +48hkd有包含沙律和饮品的套餐,两月内有买6送1优惠。·贝果组织偏紧实,烘得外脆内韧,咬断感差了点,但整体口感不错,可惜只有everything bagel一种。Sourdough烘烤后脆韧耐嚼,并且不会很磨牙。·馅料的口味就多多了,打算在不知道什么时候离职之前滚遍菜单。以下几款按照喜好先后程度排序:·【Egg & Spinach Bagel + Smoked salmon】这款热腾腾的贝果一定是“最适合中餐胃的白人饭”,它家自制的的烟熏三文鱼很特别,强烈推荐加一份。·菠菜炒蛋层层叠叠、卖相金黄澎湃,像一块厚实的蛋饼,硬是把贝果撑成了胖墩儿。柔润多汁的蛋香从对半切开的贝果中飘出来,牙床一口陷进松软弹韧的温柔乡,太满足了!·【Tunacado】口感很丰富的一款,吞拿鱼沙律蛋黄酱含量不低,但绵密的同时也吃得到清脆的洋葱粒和实打实的鱼肉。牛油果很滑软,搭配青酱,思路还蛮有趣。·【Roast Turkey】痛快吃肉,但是火鸡胸太咸了,coleslaw的creamy酱汁润泽着面包正好。·【Smoky Chicken】芝士表面有浅浅sear一下,细嫩的鸡肉早已调和在绵稠的酱汁中,这款咸度就很好,蔓越莓干宛如点睛。·【Banh Mi Bagel】唯独这款感觉份量麻麻地,grilled chicken没想到是做成了肉饼一样。·【Breakfast Plate】炒滑蛋很好,但就是几种食材没什么融合感。

星期日的接近12時去到位於西環的Mendel’s吃早餐,即使當天下著大雨時間尚早,店內依然接近滿座,幸好我們到達時剛好有一枱客人離開,所以不用等位便能入座.ᐟ .ᐟ我們都點選了以下兩款SIGNATURE BAGELS,用料調味均有心思,吃得出不是家中隨便複製得到的味道ദ്ദി ˃ ᵕ ˂ )即使不便宜,但價錢合理❤️▫️House Smoked Salmon $108 (9/10)雖然我本身較愛吃有嚼勁的貝果,即使這個包體易斷口,卻跟夾心餡十分搭🥰我很喜歡三文魚偏向似是煮熟了的,並非平常吃到生的煙三文魚,其他配料原來有經醃製過,不是隨便加大量醬去吊味,因此夾心中醬量很少也十分惹味,實屬心機之作❤️▫️Banh Mi Bagel $98(8.5/10)包體如上,跟夾心餡十分相襯,雞肉不乾柴且入味,已醃製的配料也是同樣高質,整個combination好有越南風味,偏向開胃的一款,我們都覺得很美味٩( ´ω` )و❥…吃完之後都能理解為何位置有點偏遠,價錢亦不便宜,並在Openrice的review不多,但在下雨天仍然滿座大受歡迎,果然一間餐廳最重要的仍然是味道,好吃的美食必定有街坊及回頭客支持🫶🏻如果喜歡我的記錄,記得按個𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲及𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄我 fibee_food

喺香港識bagel嘅選擇唔係好多,今次見堅尼地城有間bagel小店,所以就去試吓🙈呢間bagel小店除咗賣經典款式之外,仲有一啲特別口味,例如叉燒蛋同埋越南口味,將西式bagel同東南亞風味混合!🇻🇳Bahn Mi BagelBahn Mi 係越南嘅傳統三文治,一般會用發包夾住雞肉青瓜同蘿蔔絲,而呢款就用bagel代替左法包🥯啲蘿蔔絲酸酸地配上烤雞肉食落好開胃清新👍🏻🥤朱古力花生醬奶昔奶昔本身嘅花生味好濃郁,朱古力味唔算好出,不過唔係太甜,所以唔會好膩😙欣賞佢配咗朱古力條,朱古力脆脆,同埋麥提莎,飲奶昔之餘,令口感好豐富😍
