Tonight, I had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic restaurant that specializes in oysters & seafood. The menu featured an array of fresh delights, including oysters, lobster bisque, and a tempting seafood platter. Here’s a detailed review of the dishes I savored during my visit.
🦪 Irish and South African Oysters
To kick off the meal, I started with a selection of oysters from Ireland and South Africa. The Irish oysters were fresh. In contrast, the South African oysters had a creamier texture, with a subtle sweetness that left a lasting impression. Both varieties were served on ice, showcasing their freshness.
🦞Lobster Bisque
Next came the lobster bisque! Each spoonful was comforting and indulgent, making it a perfect start to the meal.
🐙Octopus Ceviche
The octopus was tender and the avocado purée added a creamy texture that balanced the dish beautifully, creating a harmonious blend of fresh and savory notes.
🦞🐟Grilled Seafood Platter
The seafood platter was a feast for the eyes and the palate. This generous assortment included tiger prawn, Canadian whelk, scallop, octopus and sea bass, all cooked to perfection. The prawn was succulent, the scallops were delicate and the sea bass was seasoned just right. Each component contributed to an overall experience that replicated the essence of an oceanic getaway.
🐮🥩US Angus Sirloin
Moving on to the meat course, the sirloin steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, the steak was bursting with flavor.
🍮Cream Brulee & Chocolate Fondant
The cream brulee was silkily smooth with a balanced sweetness, while the chocolate fondant was rich, with a sticky chocolate center that flowed wonderfully when cut. Both desserts provided a sweet conclusion to the meal.
