After the first visit several months ago, I told myself I will never eat at St Betty again. It was a Sunday brunch. The food was so so and the service was not great. When we almost finished the meal, we saw the other table was being served with bread. We asked our waiter why we didn't have bread. His answer was: you have to ask for it!! Hello?? Today brunch was not my idea but is a group gathering. I ordered the smoke haddock with porched egg. I asked the waiter whether I can switch the side potato to other side dish like veggie. He said he has to check with the kitchen and will come back to me. Well he never did. When the food came, there was only the fish and porched egg, nothing else. I was told that the kitchen cannot switch the side dish so they just take the potato out! The portion was very small, only have a few pieces of bit size fish with the egg. The fish was so salty that it felt like eating the preserved salty fish. The bread came 5 minutes later than the meal was served. So I had to stop eating to wait for the bread as I couldn't take the salty fish alone.
For that price tag, it is the worst brunch I have ever had. Bad food, bad service. Twice in a roll. There is no way I will step in to this restaurant again!
