约了三个好姐妹到st betty 悠闲 high tea。还想著我会最早到,怎么知道她们早就到了。好漂亮的茶壶,full of details.我最喜欢的cammomile,甘甜解渴。朋友点了乌龙茶觉得太苦,但是 Earl Grey 不错。我们一行四人,叫了两set,好靓咸点比甜点精彩烟三文鱼好吃沙律三文治清新开胃Scone 脆脆的,不过我个人比较喜欢文华的,湿湿的。同行的姐妹很欣赏,所以说百花入百眼。Jam ok la, 还是最喜欢文华的 Rose Jam, 没办法,已经先入为主了Tragic, all too sweet, the macarons are pathetic. Those chocolatesJust totally can‘t bear the sweetness. 希望有味道的层次,一味甜是不行的欣赏它的室内设计看到海景,虽然有工程进行中,斜斜的可以看都 AIA Carnival.最后结帐时,朋友说怎么多了几十蚊,原来那个水是要钱的。但我们没有喝过。我还没来之前,侍应问要不要 Distilled Water, 她们以为免费,但其实玻璃瓶里的水通常要钱。这让我想起之前去欧洲旅行时,我统统说 Tap water, please。 不过瑞士的水应该最贵,要百几蚊一支。laugh die......St Betty还是一个很适合聊天聚会的地方,很悠闲舒服,不过服务员不醒目,三催四请才懂得加水,还有甜点要加把劲!!!  继续阅读

很久以前有朋友带过我来但是甚么味道..我必定忘了这次选这餐厅原因就是因为在IFC看电影而IFC其他餐厅都没太大兴趣..所以错误地选了这里这个是南瓜汤但白色那㘣形的是里面有芝士的但这芝士味...我认真受不了不喜欢又错了这个芝士云吞内里芝士味我亦是受不了真的。。。。。。错了两样东西而第三样亦是错的这肉质不好...煮法亦不好所以这一餐算是浪费食物了我相信我下次选餐厅还是要小心点不然又会好像今天一样浪费食物 继续阅读

I've been looking forward to coming to St Betty for a long, long time now, but nobody ever wanted to come with me because it's so expensive. Finally I was able to convince my friend to come for the set lunch which was around HK$350(!!!) including tax/service charge.WHAT A RIPOFF!I'm outraged just thinking at what we paid (HK$700) between the two of us for food we wouldn't even make for ourselves at home. I mean, we came to a restaurant because we're looking for DELICIOUS food and here we come, pay a small fortune, and get served substandard fare. It should be illegal to pull this off!Bacalao in sweet pepper sauce, polenta with black sesame, olives and pickled red onionThis fish came in such a tiny portion it was only a joke. I normally wouldn't mind because I have a small appetite anyway but the sauce was horrible (watery bellpepper flavour) and the fish WAS NOT FRESH. Texture was almost slimy and all in all like sludge in your mouth. Homemade fresh gnocchi in pomodoro sauce, Parmesan foam and fried basilWhy is this even served at this restaurant?!!! This awful pasta dish is so mediocre I could cook something better with a bottle of tomato pasta sauce. I love gnocchi but this watery tomato thing tastes suspiciously like something that came out of a can! For shame!!!! At least give me some truffle for the love of God!Honey glazed soft pork bellyThere was nothing soft about the meat. It was a fatty, nearly dry pig. The opposite of what it SHOULD have been: succulent and tender. The person in the kitchen clearly doesn't have an idea of what he's doing.Caramalized poached pineapple served with coconut sorbet, Havana rum foam and oat biscuitThe best thing I had at St. Betty. Final Verdict: Never coming back. This restaurant is a complete disgrace and to be honest I would even call for it to be shut down to be replaced with a place that actually does a service to mall-goers and diners in IFC. 继续阅读

乡下婆出城,要在中环泊车,首选当然是IFC啦!要泊车唔俾钱,咁就要消费啦!出街食饭,第一件事要有位,唔好浪费时间排队,受伙计面色,在IFC就千祈唔好去饮唐茶罅。咁帮衬鬼子佬,可能会好D。我地到之前20分钟电话订座,是有座的,还让我们坐在大窗户前,有维港景色,就没什么不满意了。老外伙计有记性,记得客人的名字,招呼及格。星期天中午的餐牌,当然是食Brunch啦,经过一轮研习,普普通通的早午餐兴趣不大,烟肉、水煮蛋之类的,已经冇吸引力。进场的时候,看见有人在吃蛤蜊意大利面,我呢D乡下婆,平时在大埔街市买𩠌,海产要几新鲜有几新鲜,我煮海鲜意粉都几好ga,冇理由出街食我的私房菜!包喝红白酒的menu,都唔OK(我要开车嘛!)最后决定食ROAST BEEF,每位HKD328,两位起,仲要同waiter讲,赶时间啊,快!烧牛肉,果然是三成熟,好!配菜有南瓜、菠菜、土豆,配两种酱汁,两个外表香脆、内里空洞的“面包”(好好食)我地好努力,不过无法完全“消灭”食物,不是食物不好,是实在有点“撑”。这个餐有甜品,今天是苹果金宝,好食!点解净得文字形容,冇公仔睇?食饭就正正经经食饭,影乜鬼嘢相啫?想知点样,咪自己嚟食啰。推唔推荐?推荐!建议,三个人来,点2位烧牛肉,另加一个沙律、一个甜品,咁就唔洗嗮嘢罅。吖,仲有,呢个餐系冇咖啡嘅。乡下婆,就系咁计算嘎啦,唔好见怪。 继续阅读

5月5日, 今个月系我地2人世界嘅最后一个纪念月喇~ 当然都要浪漫庆祝一番啦, 所以我地拣咗嚟IFC嘅ST BETTY叹番个下午茶~::: Afternoon Tea Set For 2 ::: $398呢个Tea Set都有几多野食, 由下而上分别有三文治、松饼同甜点, 有咸有甜, 作为嗜咸嘅我, 同嗜甜嘅呀菲都十分适合~ 成个点心架咁上枱, 都几靓, 摆切都好有心思~ 比例上其实偏小, 样样野都系细细件细细件咁.一层一层, 底层系三文治, 中间就系松饼, 顶层就系甜点~ 三文治有四款, 分别有火箭菜沙律、蕃茄sasa、烤牛肉同埋三文鱼, 每一款都好有特色~ 火箭菜同蕃茄sasa呢2款以素菜为主嘅就好清新, 而三文鱼有油香得嚟又唔会好腻~ 最好食嘅系烤牛肉, 肉地唔会韧味道亦唔错~ 另外仲有d面包仔, 食落甜甜地咁都好香~松饼有4件, 亦都有附上2种jam同clotted cream, 本身个松饼味道都唔错, 而搽jam食就多咗一份果味, 个jam本身都几好味, 提子味够浓橙味带少少酸, 可以中和番松饼本身滞腻感. 反而搽clotted cream就虽然多咗油香, 但有点儿太腻...甜点有6款, 每一件都小小地一啖食晒, 唔会好滞, 但就无乜边款特别出色. 不过样样都偏甜, 所以最后来一杯咖啡就啱啱好~我地分别要咗杯decaf latte同冻咖啡, 咖啡味唔错, 好香, 正好为呢个tea划上一个完美句号~其实呢度可能唔系食物行先, 而系个海景, 一路叹住个tea慢慢欣赏个景, 好写意~  继续阅读
