I’ve been to BEDU a few times and the quality and service has always been great.The place itself is cozy but sophisticated and has a nice quiet atmosphere, particularly like sitting at the bar and can watch the chef prepare the dishes. I’ve been to BEDU a few times and the quality and service has always been great.

The place itself is cozy but sophisticated and has a nice quiet atmosphere, particularly like sitting at the bar and can watch the chef prepare the dishes. Can feel like casual fine dining without the price tag.

Food is great, the chef creates modern dishes inspired by Bedouin/Middle Eastern cuisine and is quite unique to find in HK. You can tell a lot of care and effort goes into creating the dishes so they remain respectful to the history of the cuisine. Dishes are well balanced and found nothing to be heavy or oily.

This time I tried the new menu of eggplant carpaccio (delicious and not at all slimy like you might think!!) then the cumin chicken skewers over rice (tender and well balanced flavours).

Only had a beer but the bar looks stocked with some great choices and opens up onto a nice space at the bottom of the Gough Street stairs, perfect to sit out in this cooler weather.

Service was very good and staff are very nice and accommodating. Hospitality has had a tough time last few years so good to be back in a nice place with happy staff.

Always a good option if you are around Central!
