Hype could really be a dangerous thing sometimes, can a restaurant live up to its expectations? There’s a lot of hype for this place, we were looking forward to it since our family has been a fan of Grissini since young. The chicken and pasta we had were okay, the bread was a bit disappointing giving the bread could easily be everyone’s favourite at Grissini. Staff are very attentive and passionate however the service was rather fast to my liking, staff would ask if someone would like to finish
The chicken and pasta we had were okay, the bread was a bit disappointing giving the bread could easily be everyone’s favourite at Grissini. Staff are very attentive and passionate however the service was rather fast to my liking, staff would ask if someone would like to finish the last piece on the sharing plate while we are all still working on something on our plate (Not like we have something else waiting to be served). We flagged that we thought the service was rather fast and they did slow down a little. We understood there’s a time limit for each reservation which is reasonable however rushing it from the starter was a bit uncomfortable for us.
Overall, food was decent and reasonable price! But the hype may have backfire a little in this case. We made this booking a month in advance and feel like if that’s the case there would be a lot more nice offerings out there without such long wait time.
