I visited La Paloma previously for dinner and thought their tapas were amazing, so I decided to return and try their weekend brunch. The brunch was great value for money with unlimited paella and suckling pig. We were given generous portions of starters to share— there was tuna tartar, a selection of cold cuts(cheese, iberico ham, chorizo), fried calamari and a foie gras and beef sandwich. The brunch was great value for money with unlimited paella and suckling pig. We were given generous portions of starters to share— there was tuna tartar, a selection of cold cuts(cheese, iberico ham, chorizo), fried calamari and a foie gras and beef sandwich. The standout for me was definitely the foie gras and beef sandwich. The beef was succulent and tender and went perfectly well with the foie gras. Then came the paella and the suckling pig. The suckling pig was amazing, with crispy skin, while the meat was tender and juicy. It was really nicely cooked and we couldn’t resist but order seconds! The dessert was churros with icecream and chocolate sauce. The churros were lightly dusted with cinnamon powder and the vanilla icecream and rich chocolate sauce were perfect complements.
