Located inside Xiqu (Chinese opera) Centre, Peony Garden is a modern restaurant that serves typical local dishes. The coriander also made a good match with smoked salmon! It’s a surprisingly delicious sandwich! Would love to try replicating one at home!

My friend and I ordered a “Kart Noodles” each, and of course, with coriander soup base. I am never a coriander fans, whenever I eat in a local restaurant, I would opt for no coriander, and pick out any in my dish before I dig in. Yet, I came here to try this coriander soup base noodles. To my big surprise, it was very delicious! The hearty soup was boiled with coriander, not just sprinkling coriander on top, so you could guess how flavoured the soup is! I actually couldn’t stop myself from sipping it! I ordered “black glass noodles” that were deliciously chewy! The beef balls and squid balls were ordinary.
Other dishes on the menu look very appealing. I wouldn’t mind visiting Peony Garden again to try out other stuff, especially when Xiqu Centre is not that remote as West Kowloon Culture district…
