Sunday lunch let try the “Etna feeling” must be something like Sicily feeling in Italy. Staff was ok not so welcome. We took: 3 set lunch, 2 parma ham melon one soup, one striploin se bass and spring chicken. Plus a la cart, burrata, veal carpaccio and Fettucine bolognese. Burrata: first of all for hkd 118 I expect to know in advance the quantity. It was really small like 100gr. Quantity is ok if quality is good, but we can’t say that since quality was poor. Veal carpaccio. The accurate English description come to my mind as “vitello tonnato” normally make with veal and salsa tonnata. I am not sure it was veal, I feel was something different, make the taste unacceptable.
Parma ham and melon: average quality of Parma ham, as much as the local melon.
Striploin: the surprise was taste was not like striploin, but somethjng different, can’t say what.
Chicken. Spring chicken I expect whole chicken cooked in oven and not chicken press and fries. Be honest not taste.
Seabass: I don’t understand why use the yogurt. Yogurt go to mix with oil come from vegetable and make taste not match.
Fettucine bolognese. I am really unhappy with the quality of meat. Everything going down with it. I don’t think is original bolognese recipe.
Soup: I don’t understand why add to much olive oil on the top!
One mention: we ask to carbonara, manager say they don’t have bacon! It was ridiculous surprise!!
To say something overall, every dish was cold, this make the situation worse.
I don’t know if will come again, definitely need to improve.
