I fell in love with tsukemen ever since I lived in Japan a few years ago. Whampoa is famous for having Japanese cluster and Japanese restaurants operated by Japanese. For taste, I was really disappointed. The sauce was very thin and insipid. It could not satisfy my tastebuds at all... And if you wish you have a few pieces of pork or a egg, you have to pay extras 10-30 dollars.
I ordered a basic tsukemen while my friend ordered a tsukemen with pork. The sauce tasted the same while she paid extra bucks for 3-5slices of pork. Definitely not worthy
For the noodle, i couldn't complain much cuz it was quite chewy and I liked it
I will definitely visit more tsukemen stores in HK to find the best Japanese taste I want!
