CVIEW is a newly opened Chinese restaurant located on the 16th floor of the landmark M+ in West Kowloon. The prime location offers a panoramic view of the Victoria Harbour. CVIEW specializes in traditional Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine, making use of different seasonal ingredients. We tried the following dishes during our visit:
- Sliced Pork Terrine Served with Zhengjiang Black Vinegar ($98)
- Tea Leaf Smoked Eggs ($68)
- Chicken and Wonton Soup (Half) ($328)
- Crispy Rice Cones Filled with Diced Chicken ($118)
- Braised White Cabbage with Salted Pork ($208)
- Steamed Pork Dumplings ($98)
- Pan-friend Pork Dumplings ($98)
All the dishes live up to our expectation with really balanced flavours and delicate presentation that showcase the skills of the culinary team. We particularly love the chicken and wonton soup. Served warm, the chicken soup was really flavourful and comforting. The addition of Chinese cabbage and homemade wontons elevate the flavour profile and layering of the soup. We just couldn’t have enough of it.
