Had a working lunch and found the service and food were great which attracted me to reserve a table for my wife's birthday celebration. The unfortunate happened, I made a reservation through open rice which came with some special set dinner coupon. The restaurant weren't full, and yet we were not allow to take the window seat. The unfortunate happened, I made a reservation through open rice which came with some special set dinner coupon. The restaurant weren't full, and yet we were not allow to take the window seat. I would've thought that they know this is a birthday celebration and given the fact that there were tables available shouldn't they can be more accommodative?
My wife is a non alcoholic and hence I have requested for a non alcoholic drink list, the waitress asked us to wait and said she will bring us a "bar list", ????, anyway we waited for that bar list after serval requests, waiting time for such list was 30mins!
The waitress - when we were trying to make an order, she insists to only speak to us in English. She's a Honkie herself, so why wouldn't she speak to us in her mother language? Is that a requirement by the restaurant to only serve the English speakers or expats? What if there are high net worth individual who doesn't speak a word of English?
Photo - obviously we want to have our memory for a birthday celebration, we have asked for at least 4 waiters and waitress for help, but all of them ignored us.
Selection of food - yes I've booked the table with a coupon, but after looking at the set menu, we would rather order something else. Funny enough, at 7:30pm, most of the ingredients were not available and hence we were forced to order from the set menu. What's worst? The food that we like to order were somehow available for other late comers, is that discrimination or not?
Honestly, the environment is great with next view and fancy renovation, but no further comments with regards to their service and food.
