This restaurant is surprisingly filled even at 3pm in the afternoon. They offer a set menu of a choice of their signature tsukemen or soup ramen, a small side dish and a drink at a reduced price compared with the a la carte menu. I choose the Mita Special Ramen with Homemade Deep Fried Chicken and a soft drink. The ramen noodle is a thin, straight type, and cooked to maintain it's chewiness. The portion of the medium noodle is average, and you do need the side dish for it to really be satisfying

The ramen noodle is a thin, straight type, and cooked to maintain it's chewiness. The portion of the medium noodle is average, and you do need the side dish for it to really be satisfying. The soup is thick and dense with strands of dried bonito, and while packed with flavour, is somehow not overly salty. The taste is fishy and smokey, and the thickness of the soup coats each noodle, making it taste quite heavy after a few bites. There is a piece of pork, a piece of naruto, spring onion and chopped white onion. The white onion is a good addition as it helps to cut through the richness of the soup.
The fried chicken is crispy and tasty, and fills the gap after the noodles are done and you are still slightly craving something more.
This restaurant offers an alternative to the usual ramen, is conveniently located at K11 with comfortable seating, and offers a reasonably priced noodle set.
