My best ever bagel experiences were in the UK & US. While I had tried a few bagels in some cafes/coffee shops in HK, they were never satisfactory and I had given up exploring bagel places here.Despite knowing that I am a bagel fanatic who only trusts that the best bagels can only be found in the UK & US, a friend of mine strongly recommended R&R Bagels in Central.I was like "okay then", but had no expectation whatsoever as to what it would taste like.Cinnamon Bagel with Pecan Maple Cream Cheese

Cinnamon Bagel with Pecan Maple Cream Cheese ($35)
🍩The bagel is decently wrapped and presented. (I have always wondered why bagels are generally packed in this way. A shop sticker is always there.)
🍩 Nicely toasted bagel, with generous amount of cream cheese filling.
🍩The aroma of the cinnamon is really fragrant, perfectly complemented by the sweetness from maple syrup flavoured cream cheese. The cream cheese is sweet yet mildly sour. It feels like enjoying a bagel cheese cake. The coarsely chopped pecans give a bit of crunchiness to the filling,
🍩 The toasted bagel has a crispy crust and the interior is chewy but not tough. (I have tried many tough bagels in HK.)
Conclusion: The quality of this bagel is above the average standard and indeed is the best I have ever had in HK. The cream cheese filling just pushes the whole bagel to the next level. Paying $35 for such a bagel worths the money. I would definitely pay another visit to R&R Bagels very soon and explore more on other bagels and cream cheese combination.
