Mandarin Oriental always never disappoint on their dessert selections. I always eat lunch at the Cafe Causette, but what fascinates me the most are the cake display on their cake shop. The bread at their bakery is also very good, which I order as take-away, whenever I visit after my meetings.
This time I had the chance to try their chocolate cake with nuts, this is definitely a chocolate lovers dream. Don’t mind my poor photos, but the photos definitely don’t do the cake justice. The chocolate was of a dark chocolate, the cake was dense but with the nuts in the top layer it balances the cake out. It gave the crunch it needed since the cake was so dense with a chocolate filling and an outer layer. I got to say “Nomnomnom”!
