Now they have moved to the end of Wellington Street which is conveniently located on the ground floor. That weekend it was pissing it down with rain in the afternoon and the skies were as dark as night and I happened to be nearby so went here for brunch. It was so dark that they had the lights on.
The brunch is HKD298 and you get to choose an appetizer and a main.
For the appetizer, had the fried white bait and salad.
The choice for burrata salad was easy but it was hard deciding between crab cake and white bait!!
The Burrata and Watermelon Salad was creamy complemented with refreshing watermelon and heirloom tomatoes. The whitebait was a must for me because I love fried fish.
Next was the hearty soup which was comforting on a rainy thundery day!
For the mains, had the salmon and beef.
The salmon was pink and delicate and I love the bed of pearl barley that came with it and the silky cauliflower puree. The Tenderloin was also satisfying as it was perfectly seared on the outside and pink in the middle.
We also got the desserts because there was peanut butter semifreddo which was like a soft cheesecake with a creamy rich peanut butter taste.
My friend had the chia seed pudding which was complimented by oats so it like having breakfast in dessert form.
Overall the brunch was very filling so I was really satisfied.
The staff were really nice and let us sit until the rain died down.
