Came here for a post-study dinner date and booked ahead of time via OpenRice. The restaurant is cozy, tucked away in a quiet street in Wanchai. The waiter who served our table (who I also presume might also be the owner - there were only two front of house staff) greeted us warmly and we ordered soon after. Came here for a post-study dinner date and booked ahead of time via OpenRice. The restaurant is cozy, tucked away in a quiet street in Wanchai.

The waiter who served our table (who I also presume might also be the owner - there were only two front of house staff) greeted us warmly and we ordered soon after. We ordered 8 oysters (4 per person), the seafood platter, crab cakes, sea urchin shrimp, and the lobster linguini! We asked the waiter to recommend us oysters - he kindly offered to pick us a selection and we just went with it.

The food was absolutely splendid. The oysters were so fresh and so was the lobster. Absolutely delicious. We ended with the banoffee pie - cleared that out almost instantaneously.

I unfortunately had to leave right after dinner because of work the next day despite the owner offering us the table for the night. Wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the ambience. Overall, I was greatly impressed by the food and even more so the lovely staff. We definitely wracked up the food bill but it was very much worth it.

今晚約了好友來到了灣仔，朋友一早就到了餐廳，示意我入店內，小店位於灣仔謝斐道，附近有很多特色食店，我都是第一次跑來這里吃蠔。當你坐下，親切又好笑容的待應，會很細心為介紹生蠔品種,店家好細心考慮到食客的需要，合符你口味的美食。OYSTER AND OTHER SHEELS1.Rollex M($49)來自南非女士們對它特別喜愛，入口好滑好甜，而且無法國蠔的咁重海水味。2.Sentinelle No.2 ($57)來自法國，比較重的海水味但是食落又幾鮮味。3. ($49)來自南非女士們對它特別喜愛，入口好滑好甜，而且無法國蠔的咁重海水味。

2.Sentinelle No.2 ($57)來自法國，比較重的海水味但是食落又幾鮮味。

3. Irish rock
當然來自愛爾蘭($53)，它味道在南非同法國蠔之間，食落無鯹味，它算新鮮，味道就不及SENTINELLE甘鮮甜。

其實食生蠔我算是初姐，不過有時去大酒店食自助餐，見人開蠔，見到蠔周圍肌肉郁下郁下，代表蠔是新鮮，我最中意食法國蠔多點，今次無叫其中一種叫GILLARDEAU 法國蠔算是NO. 1，它的蠔殼有G字LASER LOGO，而且最易開架，味道當然最好啦。

UNI UNI即是海膽，如果UNI加蝦，不知道它的味道是如何，告訴你它味道好搭,而且擺碟好美，而且又精緻，好有高級酒店的水準。

帶子味道鮮甜,一口白酒加上一口的帶子，真是一大享受，賣相好吸引。

Uni Risotto $199

UNI UNI 之意大利飯，一口海膽，味道好鮮甜，加上好濃香意大利飯，飯粒比較煙韌而且保持到意大利飯特色，不知不覺很好把這碟UNI RISOTTO食光光了。

Banoffee Pie $59

今晚令我們二人美女最期待是它的甜味，香蕉加咖啡的PIE，味道如何，它味道不太甜，而且香蕉份量比較大份，而且有濃香咖啡味，BANOFFEE PIE算好大件兼抵食，如果下次朋友生日，真是要帶朋友來吃這美味PIE，因為很少地方可以吃到。

最後由BANOFFEE PIE為我們劃上了完美的句號。

座落灣仔的 The Oyster House，立足原址已經有一段時間，自然有實力。Las Condes Sauvignon Blanc 2017生蠔配白酒，已經成為定義，這裡的 House White 是來自智利 Sauvignon Blanc，只有一年的新酒，比較 dry，少少酸，都唔錯。Oysters點了半打生蠔一人兩隻，先吃 Yellow Stone $49，感覺鮮甜無比，回甘悠久，再喝一口白酒咀嚼邊位，蠔鮮之味更加分明；接下來的 Spanish L $53，大大隻吃得滿足，最後的 Irish Rock $59，海水及礦物味最濃。海膽紅蝦 $89/只生蠔之外，最吸引的冷盤莫過於這個海膽紅蝦，今日用的是牡丹蝦，簡單的組合，鮮美無比之餘、賣相亦十分漂亮，選材新鮮最重要。蟹肉牛油果醬塔 $149若然意猶未盡，這個美味三層塔不會令你失望，極富鹹香的黑魚子在頂，豐富蟹肉在中層，下面是新鮮牛油果肉，再配上輕盈的白忌廉醬汁，層次分明，味道豐富。黑松露野菌蘑菇湯生冷食物吃完之後，來一到熱湯。鮮蠔濃湯炭燒加拿大天然豬鞍 $199加拿大天然豬鞍，肉質鬆軟，烤得好，厚肉都不會太嚡，少少脂肪在邊

拖肥香蕉批，看來有份量，食落幾輕盈，因為中層以新鮮香蕉代替了大量忌廉芝士，而拖肥就塗在底層的芝士餅上，組合理想，實在唔錯！

Seeing this on Openrice's top 10 recently, boyfriend and I came here for dinner to give it a try for it was date night. I was in the mood for oysters and it seemed like a good place to eat.The restaurant was pretty busy and full on a weekday. When we left, there was a small line waiting to for a table. Seeing this on Openrice's top 10 recently, boyfriend and I came here for dinner to give it a try for it was date night. I was in the mood for oysters and it seemed like a good place to eat.

The restaurant was pretty busy and full on a weekday. When we left, there was a small line waiting to for a table. That must be a good sign. Seating was a bit cramped but it's not a very big restaurant. Menu is in English and Chinese. They serve various pasta and meat meat dishes along with various seafood items. I noted that they had a promo of a seafood platter for $99 that is available only on Monday and Tuesdays. A pretty good deal and if we had known beforehand, we would have come on a Monday or Tuesday instead.

We were given a bread basket while we were waiting for our meal. The bread was foccacia and yeah ... I love a good foccacia. This smelled wonderful.

Bruschetta Toscana ($65). We started off with bruschetta. The tomatoes were refreshing and lightly doused with olive oil and fresh basil. All was topped on a toasted baguette.

Willapa Bay ($38 each), Rollex ($42 each) and Spanish Rock Oysters ($49 each). As we weren't really sure what oysters to choose, the staff was very informative and gave us recommendations. We went with it as prices weren't ridiculously expensive. The oysters on the left are Willapa Bay and had a strong taste of sea salt. The huge one in the back are Spanish Rock. These were big and meaty. But my favorite was the small ones in the front, Rollex. They were creamy and rich in taste.

Uni Prawn ($88 each). As there were two of us, we ordered two of these. We saw that many people around us ordered this and so we followed. A great combination of sea urchin and prawn. It was topped with crunchy cucumber slices and salty salmon roe. Both were fresh with not fishy after taste from the uni. Something I fear when ordering uni sometimes. A total standout dish.

Oyster Roll ($108). This was a prettily presented dish. There was a smear of what appeared to be a grainy mustard sauce. The oysters were wrapped in a crisp cucumber slice. A pleasant enough appetizer.

Linguine Vongole ($128). The pasta was cooked a perfect al dente. It was seasoned well and topped with juicy clams. I loved how it wasn't drenched in sauce and I hate soggy pasta.

Salmon alla Griglia ($145). The salmon was seasoned well and was cooked perfectly. Not over cooked and not under cooked. It came with a hollandaise sauce that was a bit too tart and too watery for my liking. There was a few nicely seasoned vegetables on the side. There was also a mashed potato that tasted very buttery and that is a good thing.

Banoffee Pie ($55). I don't know what is with the banoffee pie but I've noticed it's been appearing in more and more restaurants recently. I guess a change of pace from the very tired and over done tiramisu? Anyways, we tried this as boyfriend said he never had one. I'm not a big fan of banoffee pie but this was ok. I think boyfriend loved it more as it contained everything he loves on one slice. The bananas were ripe and sweet. The cream on top was rich and subtley flavored with vanilla. It wasn't too sweet and tasted like bananas and cream.

Place is very busy but the staff was helpful despite being swamped with customers. It can be a bit noisy as people do talk loudly. Food was good. A great place for oysters anyways and I would return with a girlfriend one evening when we have one of those "OMG! OYSTERS NOW!" moment.
