Passed by the Whampoa Garden to buy something at AEON and saw this restaurant was pretty packed so gave it a try.
Their prices are quite reasonable, around $30~$40 for breakfast, just a bit more than MX / Cafe de Coral.
Menu: There are not so many choices and include the usual suspects - fried eggs with sausage and ham, instant noodles in soup with fried egg, mini steak with buttered corn, and a few healthy choices like oatmeal with fruit. I went for the pork chop with ham and mushroom omelet and a hot coffee.
Environment: The environment is very clean, comfortable and pleasant.
Food: Unfortunately the food was a disappointment. The pork chop was OK, the piece of meat was thin and quite tender. The sausage and mushroom omelet tasted really strange - I guess the sausage used was the really cheap kind that is a bit "chewy" and the mushrooms were probably canned button mushrooms. Overall the omelet made me a bit nauseous. It also came with an (untoasted) bun and butter. The coffee was OK, similar to what you get in the other chains and served in a large mug.
The price is quite cheap ($35 and no service charge) for the environment. Maybe if I try this next time I will go for the Chinese items like fried carrot cake which looks a bit better.
