最平都一百蚊碗啦~味道普通, 份量少, 真係貴到癲之前朋友結婚, 我幫朋友keep起晒, 所有貴重嘢, 包括n 咁多金器。 我朋友就叫我幫佢拎回家先, 佢家就是係呢間嘢附近啫,點知我忘了拎key, 朋友又忘了比key我, 我又攰又餓, 咪諗住是旦食碗面, 等人嚟拎key比我囉~一入去, 望見餐牌最平都要100蚊碗牛肉面, 唉~太攰至餓了,是鬼旦叫啦~諗住咁嘅價錢應該幾好味咁,點鬼知味道一般, 份量又少諗起都嬲嬲呀👿👿👿👿

Lunch: (1) 溏心蛋 (marinated egg) - it was okay but would pref a bit more flavour; (2) 蒜泥白肉 (cold pork slices prepared w vinegar) - interesting dish that has an alternative prep that uses vinegar instead of garlic; (3) 鮮肉麵 (noodles with fresh pork, viet sausages, bean curd, veg) - tasty but would pref stronger soup base and a lower price tag! OVERALL - meh. SUGGEST - all the noodles, 蒜泥白肉 (cold pork slices prepared w vinegar). How I rate: awesome > decent > meh > terrible

到灣仔找舊同事吃飯,想找個好環境些的地方, 佢話依家現在灣仔度食午飯都好多人又好貴,行左幾間食西餐同pizza 都過150蚊, 得一個鐘食 lunch唔想洗甘多錢, 於是佢提議食台灣麵, 果度唔洗等位。我心諗台灣麵貴極有限, 我又中意食麵, 就答應試下真係唔洗等位入到去, 店面好清新, 好舒服。客人都係較成熟, 講野好細聲。一打開 menu 就眼都突埋-最基本的肉絲麵, 菜湯麵之類要100蚊碗!如果食有特色既豬脚麵,担担麵, 牛肉炖麵之类就150! 贵到嘔!最終唯有係100蚊內選擇個最有餸既麵--朋友叫左酸菜肉絲麵我就嫩雞菜麵個湯底無咩雞味, 口淡淡而無特色,唔知点解貴過 japanese 拉麵打開枱上配料,發現有酸菜任加。。而果酸菜係同朋友特登叫既酸菜肉絲麵既料係一樣既!! 真係陰公整體上唔值甘貴,味道普通地方又偏。無理由收甘貴, 可能我地呢打工仔消費100蚊就甘大期待, 唔係佢的 target客, 但本人下次一定唔會再黎。

Loved how the noodles are served in One Big Bowl! It's pretty hispter in my opinion. The menu choices are what you can find in any Chinese noodle shop but, the noodles were thicker and delicious! Quality wise, pretty good. Taste wise, it's alright.

以往當我想食一碗有關質素嘅麵, 一定會想起這間. Average $150 碗一d都唔平, (當一碗拉麵$100未普及化時元已收緊$150), 但一向勝在真材置料. 這次真切底失望了. 一如以往ordered 咗: 蝦麵 - 以前蝦味鮮甜, 食出用時間煲出來. 現在, 如水一般, seriously. 我要求換過, 他們從新整過只係加咸. (忍不住問是否換廚了?說沒有). 可以講, 只值$30羊膜麵 -好un, 好蘇, 湯冇味唐醋排骨 - 硬到石頭一般, 唔需要講好唔好味, 因為根本咬唔開.總括: 極失敗, 永遠唔會再黎.

來一碗麵當然要吃麵,見餐牌最吸引的是西班牙肘子火腿麵($150),就來一客。小食試了拍青瓜及烤麩,前者爽脆,但醬汁層次未夠;後者偏硬,不及上海店的烤麩般鬆鬆甜甜。麵上桌時附有碟及刀义,可把肘子拿出來切開,夠細心。肘子中間有骨,附著骨的肉最好吃。麵條粗粗的,夠彈牙。湯底似是自家熬製的豬骨湯,忍不住多喝幾口。碗內還有幾條菜,算是營養均衡。

第一次來,當然要點上他們的招牌,弄堂牛肉麵。這一類型的牛肉麵,往往令我想起了台灣式的牛肉麵,濃香的牛肉湯底,煙韌的陽春麵,就是美妙的台式牛肉麵,而 Olala 的這一個牛肉麵,也正正是這一種款式。

牛肉,用上了牛展肉,而且肉厚亦夠多,牛肉炆得十分之腍,而且帶有濃濃的五香粉味,是牛肉夠靚所以貴吧。再說湯底,是包含了牛肉的精華同五香粉的味道,味道夠哂香的。

最近DADDY講起灣仔有間食麵的小店, 內裡賣的麵成百幾蚊碗,連老闆都唔捨得食!我很不好意思的說,其實...我食過了! 真的很好味! 比其他著名的牛肉麵更好吃!想起當天跟男友很悠閒的第一次去日,月,星街逛逛, 環境非常舒適!! 途經Olala一碗麵, 被它的裝潢,名字--蝦蝦蝦麵 和價錢吸引著,就想:名字這麼有趣, 價錢這麼的貴, 很想試試!結果, 最後選了牛肉麵嘗試, 果然, 貴是有它的道理的!牛肉是前所未有的"淋"和厚,而且脂肪和肉的比例均勻, 湯底亦是非常的美味,很濃!一試難忘!服務態度亦很好, 可能是因為我們是第一桌客人吧! 店員很溫柔, 很有小店親切的感覺!希望所有美好的事都能持續的好吧!

牛肉是前所未有的"淋"和厚,而且脂肪和肉的比例均勻, 湯底亦是非常的美味,很濃!
一試難忘!

服務態度亦很好, 可能是因為我們是第一桌客人吧! 店員很溫柔, 很有小店親切的感覺!
希望所有美好的事都能持續的好吧!

落單時, 我ORDER完唸住影下個餐牌, 個服務員即刻搶走個餐牌, 我真係好愕然... 跟手Honey ORDER完, 同個服務員講話想影個餐牌寫BLOG用, 個服務員又話隨便...

佢咁嘅食物+服務+環境質數, 都竟然可以成為米XX精選食肆, 簡直匪夷所思!!!

Ate here based on its inclusion in the Michelin guide to Hong Kong & Macau. I ate the braised beef noodles and my friend ate the shrimp noodles. The portions are big. The beef was generous and not over cooked. The noodles were chewy. However, the broth was a great disappointment. It lacked depth and was too salty. The result being a very over priced bowl of noodles at $150. My friend said his prawn noodles were similarly disappointing. Over all I would say that the noodles are not only overprice

The portions are big. The beef was generous and not over cooked. The noodles were chewy. However, the broth was a great disappointment. It lacked depth and was too salty. The result being a very over priced bowl of noodles at $150. My friend said his prawn noodles were similarly disappointing.

Over all I would say that the noodles are not only overpriced, but even at a reduced price I would not say there was anything extraordinary about what is being served here. I would not make a repeat visit.

I came here before for two times, although people keep saying its salty but as a Chinese, I does not find it salty it matched with the "hand-cut" noodles. the noodles before was very chewy BUT I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. WITH the high price, just speaking of their services does not worth any penny at all.I was pretty disappointed, coz I had the shrimp noodles, it is very very very very light tasted "shrimp" flavour just like shrimp soup added with lots of water. BUT I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. WITH the high price, just speaking of their services does not worth any penny at all.

I was pretty disappointed, coz I had the shrimp noodles, it is very very very very light tasted "shrimp" flavour
just like shrimp soup added with lots of water.
We complained but the “chief” came out and said we are always like this. And then we said “well, it not what we had before”
He said “yes, cause people changed so the taste changed”

Aint a restaurant should be sustain their quality ? OR they can introduce new flavour of noodles instead of changing the whole taste???? SO I guess, they just don’t expect to have any loyal customers!?

Speaking of the shrimp noodles, watery soup based, the noodles is thinner but still OK. Even we asked him to make us a stronger tasting soup but I guess the second bowl he made only 0.01% more salty. I was really disappointed. The soup does not as tasty as before, lack of shrimp taste and they have less shrimp and fried shrimp too.

We live close to Star Street and are slowly exploring the restaurants in the area. We walked past Olala a few times and though to give it a go for lunch.The place was half empty and we had no problems getting a table. The service was good.Now, the main reason for the visit - the noodles. The texture of the noodles was good. I had the spicy pork noodles. It was very salty. That's all I could taste. There are definitely many places where you can have much better noodles for half the price they charge at Olala. At 150 HKD per bowl of noodles I expected a lot more.

The location is nice and quiet and the room is pleasant and clean (they still have the decor of the previous Tapas bar).

Verdict - will not be back. There are much better places around.

I have always wanted to try this place but last time I came it was closed.In a way, I was glad it was closed because I had not read 梵高將軍's review as it was really detailed explaining the ingredients in the soup and the special pickled vegetables you can ask for so I knew at least what to expect.I should have accepted fate that I didnt have any luck with this place as it was closed the first time I attempted to go.I should given up recently when the their phone number 2294 0426 didnt ring as well

I should given up recently when the their phone number 2294 0426 didnt ring as well when I called to check if it was open!
Well if their phone is dead I cant see them getting any reservations through the phone, but this same number is not only listed on OR but on other websites as well.

From my previous experiences when I tried to go to places that were closed on my first visit, the food was not good or the items I wanted to try were not available when they were open.

Anyway, went there, and ordered the Prawn noodles.

Waited for a while and it arrived, the soup was lighter than 梵高將軍's, it was not even orange/brown or had those orange oil droplets but if it tastes really nice then I am not bothered.
As the reviews mentioned, it should have prawns and dried prawns, so I decided to take pictures to flaunt the dried prawns and prawn.
I picked the prawn and put it in a separate bowl, then I started to look for the dried prawns.
I was stirring the noodles in my bowl over and over and I could not find any.

I asked the waitor if there were meant to be any dried prawns "ACCORDING TO THE MENU" then she asked another colleague who came over and she told me that they were temporarily not available.

I was furious because they should have mentioned it beforehand or at least indicate that on the menu.
As it was listed on the menu, I felt the dried shrimps were a main ingredient as well along with the prawns and spring onions!! The broth was probably not as strong as it should be!

I asked since when they didnt have the dried shrimp and she said it was recently not available and next time when I come it should be available.
This is my first visit and I have been deceived already, do you think I would come back again???????
Also their telephone number does not work so how I can call to ask?

Usually this happens at busy fast food places where they run out of ingredients but since those dishes are not that expensive it acceptable to go without or have it changed.

It's just not on for a Michelin rated restaurant to be doing that to customers.
If I had not read the earlier reviews I would be thinking my noodles were worth $150 when actually part of the ingredients were missing!
I wonder how many people have eaten the prawn noodles recently without being given the dried shrimp without knowing it?

They did offer to let me to choose another noodle but there was nothing else I really wanted, and it was just one of those restaurants where there is only one item that I wanted to try.

I suppose I should have changed it to the oyster and meat noodles 蠔豉肉片麵 but I couldnt think straight at that moment!

I then asked for the pickled vegetables as GF said they tasted nice, but the tone of her voice sounded like I deserved it because I did'nt get any dried shrimps!!

I've had enough of ramen lately (I must have tried 3-4 different famous ramen shops within the same month) and just wanted a bowl of noodle. Although I like Fish Ball Ho Fan (Yu Daan Fun) very much, I prefer something more comfortable even if I had to pay a premium. So I thought of "O La La".

This was also recommended by the Michelin Guide, which must be both a blessing and a curse. The blessing is of course the increase in popularity. The curse is that competitors will start targeting you, e.g. by snipe comments...etc, and customers will be a lot more demanding as well. I suggest you also check the previous comments of "Olala" St. Francis Street (their previous location) for a more objective view.

It's now located at a quiet corner of Star Street. One way to get there is to get out of Pacific Place 3. It's just a 5 minutes walk from there.

While it's a lot busier during lunchtime, seats are usually available, especially after 1:30 p.m. It's opened during tea time as well.

The interior decor was slightly odd because it used to be a French restaurant in the same name. It was probably owned by the same owner, which seemed to be a really famous chef ("To To"). The tables were placed wide apart. The ceiling was high and the air conditioning was good. There was only another two customers at a table. It's nice and quiet.


Service was definitely not as bad as those apparently experienced by other reviewers. The manager is probably related to the famous chef as both of them looked similarly professional - i.e. giving orders to the assistant chef to fry more prawns...etc.

They serve quite a lot of Shanghainese appetizers. I'm not sure whether they have an English menu or not. Anyway, the left side of the menu (receipt actually), from top to bottom:

(1) Prawns in Prawn Broth Noodle

(2) Shanghainese Preserved Pork Noodle in Pork bone broth

(3) Beef Noodle

(4) Shanghainese Fish noodle in Chicken broth

(5) Spicy Cha Chang Noodle;
(6) Spring Chicken with Vegetable Noodle

(7) Chinese Mushroom and Glutn Noodle (vegetarian)

(8) Shredded Spring Onions noodle (possibly in chicken broth as well); and
(9) Si Chuan Style Dan Dan Noodle.

I've actually tried most of those other than their signature beef noodle. Most of my colleagues have tried it and they thought it was OK. Anyway, I prefer the prawn noodle and the fish noodle. Since I tried the "Prawn Mee" at "Prawn Noodle Shop" a few days ago, I ordered the Prawn Noodle here so I could make a comparison.

I also ordered the egg as an appetizer, which arrived very quickly:

Contrary to the name, "Smoked Fluid Centered Egg", the center wasn't fluid at all. It's marinated in Shanghainese vinegar and some spices (similar to the "five spices" but less overwhelming and smoked). It HK$20 for two eggs. It's not as good as those provided in "Ye Shanghai" but not too bad as an appetizer.

Then came the Prawn Noodle.

It consisted of fresh river prawns, dried prawns, fresh spring onions, fried spring onions, in prawn broth.

The prawn broth was even better, in terms of the strength of the prawn taste, than "Prawn Noodle Shop". It had a lot of prawn essence inside the broth, including the cream of the prawn and no double a lot of shells. The whole broth was orange, which looked like a prawn ! It's very tasty and I didn't feel thirsty after drinking most of the soup.

It's my habit to add chilli sauce half way through the meal so I could try a different taste. The chilli sauce provided at Olala was quite special. It's like mixing "Lau Gan Ma老干媽" with "Gwai Lin Chilli Sauce桂林辣椒醬" and then fried. It's quite addictive and good with all the noodles provided!

The spring onions was a good idea to freshen-up the broth, which may get heavy after you're half way through it.

The Lai Min (same character but not to be confused with ramen, the Japanese version) noodle itself was most probably home made. It had a distinct wheat taste to it and was very chewy. It's quite delicious and filling.


It's quite a big meal in a bowl and fine for guys with usual to slightly big appetite. Though one of my female colleagues, who claimed she was originally from Shanghai, could finish two bowls! Σ(゚д゚lll)!

The same colleague liked the noodles here very much. She thought the prawn noodle, fish noodle and the marinated pork "醃篤鮮" noodle were all pretty authentic. A male colleague, also originally from Shanghai, just though the price was too excessive.

After I have enjoyed my noodle peacefully while listening to the nostalgic Canton Pop from the 80's, I asked for the bill and left.

In conclusion:

The taste of the prawn soup was excellent. The noodles were nice and chewy as well. You might wish to try the special chilli sauce provided. It helps you finish the pretty big bowl of noodle, which may get a bit heavy for some.

Service was fine. The interior was simple yet spacious and calming. The surrounding area was also nice and quiet.

At HK$150 per bowl, it's certainly pricey. I regard this place as a little retreat from the bustling streets of Wan Chai. For me, paying $150 once in a while for a relaxing bowl of nicely made noodle in a quite setting is worth it.

Worth a try.

罕有地與車軩人一同推介同一亞洲食店。

由9時至2時才開完會,之後身心疲憊,很想靜靜的吃午飯放鬆及差電。近一個月內嘗了3-4間日式拉麵,暫時未有沖勁再試。喜愛魚蛋粉但不想趕及怕嘈。想起"一碗麵"便去了寧靜的星街。

當時只有另一枱客人。環境舒適。背景靜靜播放著陳佰強及其他金曲。抬與抬之間有充分距離感。樓底高所以就算人多,聲浪都不會太大。

點了溏心爣蛋及"蝦蝦蝦麵"。

蛋並非是溏心但燻得不錯。與陳醋一起吃夠䦕胃。

不一會麵端在桌上。

一看湯的顏色便知"有料到"。用河蝦仁,鮮甜蝦米,蝦膏,蝦殻來熬煮的濃郁蝦湯。比"蝦麵店"的蝦湯更有蝦味。

拉麵應該是自家製作。感覺煙靱彈牙。有麥香味。與濃湯配合得很好。


服務並沒有遇到任何問題。

喜愛蝦麵的各位食家相信會喜歡這蝦味超濃郁的北方拉麵。


$150 碗麵是否太貴實在見仁見智。

個人認為,付$150,在一個寧靜,舒適的環境內,實實在在吃一碗蝦味非常濃郁、彈牙又必定飽肚的拉麵,比起在很多定位不甚清晰的所謂西餐廳(或Fusion餐廳- 如本店原舖)內不明不白地跌錢好。

靜靜地吃畢後,整個人鬆懈下來,更能欣賞街道上的景色。$150 的心靈蝦麵 - 值得。

題外話/補充資料: 1. I'll also recommend the fish noodle. The fish was smooth. It's in a mixed fish/chicken broth with a bit of Shanghainese preserved vegetables. 2. Cash only! 3. Ask the shop for the preserved vegetables if available. It's quite special and good with different types of noodle as well.
